It will keep coming up until either Silva or GSP lose. |

| File this under the Pacman vs Floyd and Fedor vs. Randy/Brock category of fights that will never ever happen. | |

Yeah except all those other fights should have happened, IMO there was never a need for Silva vs GSP. Just fans being bored and not knowing what is best for them.

| I can't blame the fans for wanting to see this, there is two top pound for pound guys a division apart dominating their class, it's only natural that people think they should face each other. |

This isn't boxing though. The difference from 1 WC to the next is a pretty big jump. 15lbs makes a world of difference. People were under the delusion that these champs were super human. Lucky for us Frankie, Sonnen and to a lesser degree Carwin showed people that just isn't true.

| It's like boxing when there was only eight weight divisions, guys like Armstrong use to fight well above their best weight. |

Use to being the key phrase there. The evolution of the sport changed that. Even being a young sport MMA has already evolved past that. You better find you most productive WC and stick to it.

It's not changed at all, it's still the same. You've still got fighters left right and center moving up and down to challenge themselves or because of weight. |

How many fighters do you have jumping 20lbs like Anderson and Randy?

| Armstrong fought in three different weight classes, he was the champion of Featherweight,Lightweight and Welterweight at the same time and moved up and down to defend his crowns. |

David Haye and Tomasz Adamek are recent examples of moving up that sort of weight. I swear sometimes you blur the line between the sports. I have never wanted to compare the two. The are great, SEPARATE sports

Like it or not it is like comparing a WR to a sprinter(I made that comparison years ago). I could go much further into that but I'd rather not right right now. What ever happened to Plessy vs Furgeson? You know separate but equal
