- "Gina's a movie star," White said. "She's out making movies. I actually like that she made it and is doing good things. I like to see that happen. If Gina came back and said she wanted to fight again, we'd take her back, but I'm not going to pursue her."
"Gina's got her thing, and I'm happy for her," White said. "Good for her. She hasn't told me, but I've heard that she said she'd be interested in coming back (to MMA).
"I'm not going to push her. But if she wants to come back, I wouldn't say no, either. It'd probably be a big fight. I don't know if she'd want an immediate title shot." http://www.mmajunkie.com/news/2013/02/could-gina-carano-join-ronda-rousey-in-the-ufc

| Gina is another girl who had enough problems making 145, let alone 135.
I think the idea that 135 is the division all women, no matter how big or small should meet at is ridiculous.

Oh but I am sure Dana and Ronda will have no problem jumping up to 145lb or a catchweight for a movie star.

I think the idea that 135 is the division all women, no matter how big or small should meet at is ridiculous. Its the only division worth having in the UFC

I think the idea that 135 is the division all women, no matter how big or small should meet at is ridiculous. Its the only division worth having in the UFC The UFC could build a 145lb division and make it work but they're all about the Ronda Rousey show.

| How do you suggest they do that? There's very little quality at 145 lbs in women's MMA. Maybe a few years down the road. 135 has a star and enough legitimate women to have atleast around a 15 fighter division | |

| how exactly would it be justified for Gina to get an automatic title shot if she came back? I mean i know that is a very marketable fight, but not exactly fair to other feamle fighters unless we're giving title shots based on attractiveness now? In which case Gina clearly is the number 1 contender and should recieve an automatic title shot | |

| She's more deserving than Diaz is for a title shot. | |

She would have no chance at making 135 anyway so a title fight isn't happening. Maybe if they wanted to market a catchweight fight

| Why not push for Gina vs Cyborg rematch instead of Ronda vs either? They could have the grudge matches of Tate vs Rousey and Cyborg vs Gina on the same card. Then if Ronda is still undefeated you look to put her vs Cyborg-Gina winner. Should make that fight even bigger. | |

| Dana looks at WMMA like he does Mens MMA, as a show not a sport. It's all about dollar signs. | |

My idea still has the $ in mind. Tate vs Ronda got a lot of steam and so did Gina vs Cyborg. Probably the 2 biggest fights in WMMA history, even more hyped then the UFC title fight. Run those back, winners value goes up, winner fight. Big $.

| I'm not sure I agree that actually trying to build a division instead of just running out and making catchweight fights with big names is putting $ above the sport | |

Make Cyborg champion hire fighters and strengthen their relationship with Invicta.

If that was the case he'd have made a better effort to sign Cyborg.

If that was the case he'd have made a better effort to sign Cyborg. But Ronda is the bigger cash cow. So that wouldn't make sense. Sure short term you get one big $ fight. But they are trying to milk the cash cow that is Ronda right now. They even supplied her with a top too small for her itty bitties to pop out.

It doesn't make sense to sign one of the best and well known female fighters out there ?
