Yeah +8 it seems I have little interest in seeing GSP get his ass kicked by a huge MW that has fought at LHW. Let them keep being champs in there wait class. Untill Silva and Bones fight that is, for hardcore MMA fans I think that would be a all time great matchup am I wrong?

There always gonna be guys for the champs to fight, there is almost no such thing as 'cleaning out a division'.

Not making this fight after years of buzz, while both are still and have been for 3+ years either 1, 2, or 3 in the p4p rankings, and both being near weight(Anderson is a former 168lb champion too and GSP has said he can properly work his conditioning to be a 185 fighter) would be stupid.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST POSSIBLE FIGHT THAT CAN BE BOOKED IN MMA BETWEEN THE TWO CURRENT BEST FIGHTERS IN THE SPORT.

The opportunity has never been more golden and such a chance as this one is rare and might not be seen again in MMA for a long time to come.

I'd prefer they stick to the weight that made them "the top 2 fighters in the sport". Like you said you can never really "clean out the division". There are still fighters in both weight classes worthy of title shots right now. Plenty of other reasons but I'm pretty high right now.
