What the hell do I know?

I love this line by Bert Sugar Ketchel was a menacing fighter. He fought with a trespassers-will-be-prosecuted mentality. He didn’t give a s—t what he did. He had a habit of knocking a guy down and was so sure he would win, he would vault the ropes and be on his way to the dressing room before the count ended

And we thought Julian Jackson was arrogant!

Really good list of honorable mentions. Featherweight champ and the first Ukranian champ Kid Kaplan, decade-long featherweight champion Johnny Kilbane, middleweight champion Frank Klaus (Dmar called it) and three-time undisputed flyweight champion Pone Kingpetch. The first three are HOFers and Kingpetch oughtta be.

The "L's" tomorrow are going to be damned near impossible. Both Leonard's, Sam Langford, Joe Louis, Tommy Loughran, all three Lewis' and Fidel LaBarba.

Joe Louis should capture L, he's the greatest Heavyweight ever.

Agree with all these statements. Limited footage makes it harder on Langford, Benny and Greb. Also, Louis may have been the most important athlete of the 20th century.

Yup - they seem to be counting impact outside the ring (see Jack Johnson) so I'd be pretty surprized if they don't go with Louis. Gotta give a shout out to Nova Scotia's own Sam Langford though! Best ever from my neck of the woods.

thats usually true but they picked armstrong over ali which was shocking because of what you said so i would say that they would pick joe louis for sure but maybe not. im guessing that they are going to pick benny leonard.

How can you hate them? They are nice they fight anyone and they dominate.

i more hate them because they used to get a ton of respect for nothing and even after wlad got beat twice, everybody still said that he was the best. then vitali loses to lewis and everybody says that he should have won. klits just arent very good and i more hate the face that people rate them so high more than the fact that i hate their personalities
