Aaron Harris was the Longhorn I was trying to think of. He had just "graduated", but was with some current players, including Tarell Brown.

Mack Brown has a great image, but he doesn't deserve it. UT players have way more question marks to them now than Stoops' Sooners do. We boot our guys when they get out of line for something as innocent as taking $5 grand from a booster. Longhorns commit actual crimes, and are suspended 1 game for it. Kicking out a talent like Rhett Bomar set us back for years, counting probation and a potential Heisman-type QB. The NCAA makes me sick how they go after that, but when players commit actual crimes, they do nothing.

It was noble Bobby who then didn't hesitate to kick Bomar out and turn themselves into the NCAA! Rhett had Heiman kind of talent and Stoops had enough of Rhett after he was caught under-age drinking. [Troy Smith won a Heisman after he was nailed for the same thing.] Stoops also kicked off a starting OL in the same incident.

Broyles was arrested for not paying at the pump and was suspended for it as a freshman.

Box was caught peeing in public.

He also kicked Demarcus Granger off the team just prior to playing for the national title for stealing a coat. He let him back on the following year after he did the things Stoops required him to do to get back on. He did the same thing to Dusty Dvoracek.

All of that pales in comparison to obvious drug dealing behavior. I don't even care about potheads like Ricky Williams or Ramonce Taylor, but guys that are that heavy in crime, like Brown and Harris, should not be allowed to be displayed. So how come Tarell Brown wasn't kicked out? Oh yeah, because he's good.

And everyone knew Ramonce Taylor had no business being referred to as a college athlete. The fact that he was eligible for two years was a complete joke, but I know that stuff happens everywhere.

Then I suppose every COP out there is a dummy too. That is the first assumption if the two are found together. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck...you get the idea.

And when did Bomar and Quinn come back exactly? Bomar just came off a bowl win over Oregon where he played like a stud and Quinn was the second steadiest interior lineman we had so you know that decision didn't just hurt, it killed the following season or two. Luckily a 4.0 student was waiting for his turn in Sam Bradford.

Brown didn't get hit because he was a starter and was only slapped with a 1-game suspension anyway. A TOTAL FUCKING JOKE. I believe in redemption, but you would have to show me something first and sitting out one game wouldn't cut it in Norman. Dvoracek missed his senior season for getting in a fight with his best friend. Granger missed the most important game of his life for stealing a $60 coat.

Big Mack came down hard on the others to look like an ethical guy to whatever ESPN reporter there was around [the way that guy sucks up to reporters is pathetic too by the way], but made it sounds like Brown was the most innocent of the group. I'm sure. Convenient since he was also the most important player of the group. That still stinks to high heaven.

And OU has cut several important incoming freshmen. Josh Jarboe was the most recent one I can remember, and Justin Chaisson was made to sit out a year and may be cut before the season starts. Both were four star recruits, which probably doesn't mean much at Texas since every player they get is 4-star or higher.
