| Juarez-RETIREMENT OR BACK TO FNF LEVEL FIGHTS: He can beat ESPN FNF level competition. He can fight competitive fights with belt holder and former belt holders like Linares. He always doesn't do anything until the last 3-5 rounds, which is just enough to make it interesting, but to lose the fight.
Linares-RECLAMATION PROJECT: he is a reclamation project. He used to move and did fight off his back foot a little. Now, he is on his back foot the entire fight. He needs to be active and attempt to regain the confidence that was lost when he got KO'd brutally in one round.
Casamayor-CLEAR RETIREMENT. He is shot. His balance was bad. His punch resistance was gone. He needs to walk away. He got this final paycheck. Put it in the bank and move on.
Guererro-135!!!! He doesn't need to be at 140. He was tentative most of the fight. Maybe that was the fact that he had a belief he was fighting a former top guy in Casamayor. Personally, I think he felt a couple of the shots landed by Casamayor very early in the fight. He decided that he had a knockdown, a point deduction in his favor, and he could just go safety first to win a decision or late stoppage if Casamaryor completely gassed. He needs to be at 135 and get active. Don't run and look for a big fight immediately. Get back in the ring and start beating guys and get your confidence back.
Jacobs-EXPOSED, TIME TO START OVER. I hate using the word exposed but he seems to fit. Hyped, athletic fighter, that hasn't faced anyone, gets KO'd first time he faces a fighter who is top 15. Beating Jose Varela, Michael Walker, George Walton, Ishe Smith (really 154 pounder), Jose Miguel Rodriguez Berrio, and Juan Astorga, don't get you ready for a real fight. His competition is such that the only decent fighter he has faced is Ishe. Ishe is a tough out, but he is so much better at 154, and not 160 where he fought Jacobs.
Pirog-HOPEFULLY FIGHTING ON AMERICAN TV AGAIN!!! Was very impressed by this guy. The head movement, use of the shoulder roll, the bravado, and the short right hand that ended the fight. What wasn't to like!!!
Diaz-LSAT-Take the LSAT. Even though I don't feel you are very bright, I know that the US is full of law schools and attorneys who never should have been. I certainly wouldn't want you representing me. In the ring, he is effectively over as a top fighter.
Marquez-AVOID KHAN LIKE THE PLAGUE; We know Marquez is going to chase the 4th division belt he wants so dearly. The Mexican Holy Grail that is keeping guys like Barerra, Morales, and Marquez going. He should stay at 135 and take on Katsidis in his final fight. Watching last night's fight, his reflexes, and ability to dodge punches, are not what they were even a few years ago. We all know how it will end, Khan busting up this proud Mexican warrior.

| good thread.juarez showed me nothing last night and thats what hes got left on what was a so so fighter at best..fnf and or a oponent for rising fighters.lineras titles and ex champs today are less than a dime a dozen there a penny a dozen..hes not REAL championship caliber..if he keeps fighting juarez type fightes he wil do ok.. anything above that hes a also ran.diaz days as a top 4 or 5 fighter is over.jones wil turn into another andrew maynard..talent to a certain level thats it.cas retire its over...marquez stay at 135 for one or 2 fights at a high level and say goodby..alexander and kahn will crush you.pirog..he can be in the mix with top middles..improve on a few things.. the card on the surface looked great in reality it was a flop. | |

| Groves & Gomez - Good prospects. Should stay active.
Bika - Land another fight fast!
Juarez - He needs to step down in competition if he wants to continue to fight. He won't get any offers for bigger fights.
Linares - Settle in at 135 and stay active. I'm still high on Linares and thought he did well with Juarez who is a terrible style matchup for him. He needs to get his stamina and confidence up. He needs to learn how to deal with pressure better so he won't get bullied.
Casamayor - Same as Juarez. If he wants to keep fighting that's on him. But his skills have regressed.
Guerrero - He has options at 135 and 140. He'll get beat by any known fighter at 140. With time he might be able to work his way into the mix. He has a lot of options at 135.
Jacobs - Work his way up back to another big fight. I think he has too many flaws to correct.
Pirog - I like him. He should keep himself visible and keep fighting. He can do a lot of damage at 160.
Diaz - He should take on lesser competition and dedicate himself to the sport. He's a better boxer than a lawyer. Period. I don't care what people say, he's not in shape. He's not strong and he doesn't hit hard. Maybe he doesn't gas because he doesn't have any muscles to burn energy. I'm not saying he needs to look cut up, but no one is afraid of his pressure anymore.
Marquez - He looked great. I think he'll take a payday with Khan at 140 in England. It will be a massacre. I hate Khan.

| If Marquez avoids slick figthers and fights only those that will brawl with him, he should make loads of money and have an exciting 2nd career. If he fights talented boxers, he'll lose and become yesterday's news. | |

| I really hope JMM tells GBP and Khan to come down to 135 or go to hell. He weighed 133 last night and that is about as high as he can go. | |

But if Kahn can get back to 135 isn't that a fight worth seeing?

| I definitely think JMM can show the world if Khan still has his chinny-chin-chin issues. | |

| Try and find a smaller image Krazy, I removed it because it was stretching out the thread. |

| Marquez- Commentator booth for Univision if you can't get a big money fight.
Diaz- Try and pass the LSAT. If you do, have a great career chasing ambulances.
Jacobs- Back to the drawing board... keep fighting every other month. Get in the ring in September.
Linares- Get in there with a tough fighter and see what you have after the KO last proved nothing.
Guerrero- Use that left and punish your opponents or get use to picking yourself up off the canvas. How the fuck can a guy fighting on a PPV go about his business like that? That was despicable. People don't pay to see a sparring session. I don't care if the guy is your brother, get in there fuck the guy up.

| I would like JMM to face Katsidis next. Most likely scenario will be Khan in December.
I think Guerrero would be best served to face Soto or Katsidis at Lightweight.
Linares should ask for the Martinez vs Burns winner.
Pirog needs to start cashing in on the German scene and work his way into a fight with Felix Sturm. |

| Great OP. i agree with pretty much everything.
Guerrero should go to lightweight and stay there. I can maybe see Juan Diaz fighting him.
Linares can reign supreme at 130. Linares vs Caballero maybe? Doubt it.
Marquez will most likely fight Khan. Hopefully it ends up on regular HBO.
I definitely wanna see Pirog again. How bout a Winky fight? Chavez Jr? Duddy?

| If Diaz chooses to continue on, the most logical fight I can see being made is Diaz vs Nate Campbell 2 at a weight between 135 and 140.
Both fighters are at a crossroads, Nate wants to come back. It may draw a crowd in Texas.
