Let's have a little fun:

What weight would or could you guys make if we're playing by the current day before weigh ins?

I currently am 6' tall and weighed 183.5 before breakfast today.

I would probably fight comfortably at 168 and I suppose I could leave the weights alone and possibly starve myself to make 160 the night before the fight.

I stay in good shape (weights and some running), do bag work, skip rope and spar 6-8 times a month and I work between 50 and 70 hours a week so there isn't a lot of time to let myself go. I also have a fast metabolism, if I don't stay in shape I actually lose weight.

Be honest about yourself and your habits. Factor in how much you would be willing to cut and how much you enjoy eating.

This is also based on an 8 week training camp, training six days a week.

Have at it!

idealy your already in prime shape..you have no excess in your walking around weight..forget the starving etc etc your a lightheavy are my thoughts..and weight fight nite would be your walking around weight..anything less then LH you leave everything at home and nothing left for the ring..ill let the young guys anser what weight they could fight at..and to do the rigerous training..im tired just thinking about that.

My ideal weight would be 215.I'm currently 230 lbs. on a 6'1" frame.By today's standards I'd be a SMALL HW.

Or a Heavyweight that comes to the fight in shape. Depending on what fighters we're talking about.

I'm out of shape. Currently weigh about 205 on a 6'1 frame. I always had a fast metabolism until recent years. I don't exercise at all but I don't look fat.

If I were a few years younger, watched my diet and ran every day, I'd probably walk around at 185 and dry out to 168 for weigh in. I probably would be finishing my career about now(or a couple of years ago) at 175. I would have to hit the weights to have the muscle to compete with the cruisers.

I probably have Danny Green- type size and frame. About the same age too come to think of it.

I walk around at about 6' 190 pounds right now.

I think if I leaned out completely, I could maybe get down to 170, but that would be pretty light for me. Would probably rehydrate to at least 176-180. I haven't been 170 since playing soccer in high school. It'd be tough to get down to 168... I don't think I could ever make super middleweight.

I've always felt a solid 180 pounds is the best weight for my frame. I don't have a huge bone structure, so I don't put on massive pounds and have never been over 200 in my life. So I guess 180 would be light-heavy. Although I think I could probably dry myself out to maybe 170-175 if I was really determined. Don't know what that would do to my strength and stamina though as I haven't been that light since high school.

Been playing soccer again lately to get my leg strength back and drop some body fat %. Forgot how tough the sport was after all these years. Can't believe I actually played that shit. Playing four 90 minute games over a weekend, yeah right, I'd die today.... lol -- To think I used to run 3 miles to "warm up." God...

I also have the seem problem you have Bee... Fast metabolism. If I don't train, I lose mass. I don't gain weight, but I lose strength and endurance. I have to eat like a total glutton and sit completely on my ass to really gain pounds when I am not training.

I'm officially 5'9, half German/half-fireplug, so my frame is more built for wrestling than boxing. I had a couple fights way back when at 178. I wasn't going to get any lower than that. I was a white Dwight Qawi, without all the talent.

Hmm If I had a diet and nutrition coach and watched my weight outside the ring I could probably get down to Lightweight.

5'6 and walk around about 155lb.

I'm 5'10 1/2 and I'm about 168-172. If I was in a fighters shape I could probably make 154 and *maybe* 147.

I would go HW. I am 6'4 and I have an 81 inch reach. I am 225lbs and I would just pack on the muscle and would gain weight.

i'm a semi-fat shit.... 5'9 230 lbs. from playin linebacker in highschool, but when i wrestled i dropped down to 160, so i could of made welter and stayed at that weight no jumpin around, but then i realized i hated losin 70 lbs. in the winter and just kept the football weight.
