Yo bigs, not trying to be a dick partner, but what the fuck exactly were we supposed to assume when you say "he'll be exposed by the UFC WW division" when you provide really no other reasons besides "a good sprawl" when Kampmann is arguably the least dangerous fighter dude has fought in the last two years.

I haven't backed off anything. I still think Kamp gets choked to death in the first round, just not enough to bet anything on it.

Not to get into a big long defense of myself like you do anytime anyone brings up you, Oklahomo, or how you embarrass that school nonstop, but me not doing pickems and all that is almost exclusively due to lazyness. I jumped back in on that stuff last month anyway. Also if you paid attention, I have like 900 bets on this same card already riding.

Wolf you dogging LA when he is not here to defend himself is depressing. It is kind of like when Superman left the world and everyone dogged him. At the same time LA is no hero with super human strength, but I'd bet a dollar he runs around his house in tights.

What I meant when I said that Shields would be exposed in the UFC's WW division is just that. It's no secret that the UFC carries the toughest stable of WW fighters in the world. Jake is no GSP, he's not gonna get through that gauntlet of fighters unscathed.

When u at once say Shields will lose to Kampmann, and then say he will be exposed by the UFC ww's, that makes me think that Kamp will be the beginning of Shields exposure. I responded, Shields has beaten dudes way better then Kamp, one of which KO'd Kamp, and more then a few of which fight at a higher weight. My point being thus, It's unlikely that Kamp even beats Shields, but even if he does, it won't be a matter of Shields being exposed, Jake has already earned his status with the high quality wins on his record. The dude has proven himself, yes we know his standup is not good, but he is beyond getting exposed. Dude is proven legit.

Someone will eventually exploit his one dimensional striking, whether or not that constitutes being exposed is a debate I look forward to.

GSP won't even need to exploit Jake's weak striking. GSP has much better takedowns and I just don't see Jake getting back up or sweeping GSP who has the best top control in the game.

There are multiple fighters in the UFC's WW division who have the ground game to match Jake's and the standup game to exploit him. I just have a feeling he's not going to fare well there.

That is an interesting debate. If he gets KTFO a couple times after signing with the UFC then I would have to say he's been exposed. Anyone can get KTFO once, though.

problem with the KTFO argument is, he has survived some very sketchy situations against some very accomplished strikers, namely Daley and Hendo.

Can Kampmann do what Hendo and Daley could not, I find that highly doubtful

Kamp doesn't need to finish Shields to win, he just needs to sprawl and brawl for 3 rounds. Daley is as one dimensional as Jake and Hendo wasn't himself IMO. Kampmann won't be looking for the knockout blow like Hendo and Daley do. He'll be boxing and working Jake with kicks, coming in and out.

Maybe Shields will win, I just smell an upset here.
