How would it be a gigantic upset for Kampmann to beat Shields? Kampmann doesn't gas after one round like Hendo did, he has a ground game, his striking is more technically sound than alot of guys'. Shields likely won't be able to take Kampmann down immediatelly because Kampmann will be watching for it, especially early. Gigantic upset? Hardly. Shields beating Hendo was a gigantic upset. Kampmann beating Shields would be a minor upset at best.

Im going with the GDP argument, Shields is pretty darn good at winning fights. Big adv Shields is his survival skills vs Kampmann's lack of true KO power. Kamp might be more technical, but Shields will work his way inside, and take Kamp down, he does it to everyone.

And Kings is right, prior to Mayhem, Shields finished 8 fights in a row.

Meh, this has routine under two minute front choke victory written all over it.

I think Kampmann will continue his comeback in this fight getting the upset. He's got a good sprawl and his standup is much better than Jake's.

I think Shields is going to be exposed in the UFC's WW division.

Come on, he is coming off consecutive wins over Hendo, Mayhem, and Lawler(and this is only a fraction of his current winning streak). Now a Kampmann type is going to expose Shields? Why? Cause he's in the UFC?

Shields sub'd Pyle and Thompson easily in the first round and both of them are better on the ground than Kamp, and Thompson is a much better striker. Going back to the Pyle fight, Kamp probably represents the least challenging opponent he has faced.

after this statement how can you not accept my AV bet offer? You seem to think Jake finishes this fight easy. So what is the problem? Jake finishes, you win.

He won't go for it, Sooners. If I was high on Shields I'd go for it but I just don't think he'll be that spectacular against the top of the Welterweight division.

why wouldn't he? His first message was "meh this has sub in under 2 min written all over it" or something like that. Then he says Jake has sub'd better fighters and this is weakest fighter Jake has faced in awhile. After saying all that, wouldn't this bet be a no brainer?

I've never known Wolf to be a big sig bet kind of person here. Doesn't usually matter what kind of brainer the situation is he just doesn't seem that keen on the idea really.

Didn't think you wanted the bet. Cute, make unreasonable terms and make it out like I went looking for the bet so when your terms get denied you can claim some high ground or that I'm backing out.

There is still a good chance that Shields might ride him out to an ugly decision so why the fuck would I take that bet? Chances are he'd finish him the first round and that is still my prediction, I just am not stupid enough to take a sig bet on it.
