Perez has no idea how to fight.

Does anyone teach anyone how to fight anymore???

More and more you see guys with no clue how to create distance, what distance they should fight at, how to turn their punches over with full leverage.

I wonder what the trainers are doing in the gym.

U are right Sooner his spacing is bad. He should pump the jab alittle more and throw the right over the top and he will get rid of this guy.

Perez half heartedly threw a flicking jab and it was way short. so he took 2 steps forward, feinted, didn't attempt any punches. Realized he was right in front of Barros and covered up.

Seriously does he not have an idea what distance he is from Barros???


Everyone saying throw a decent jab and then come back over top is correct.

Its very dangerous for a guy who is tall like him to give up his space. Now he has no way to generate his leverage to get power on his punches. At the same time Barros can. His corner should be going nutz right now.

There are good fights to be made at HW: Haye, Adamek, Povetkin, Tua. Just not any of them facing a Klit.

He isn't able to generate leverage the way he is fighting, which is really a problem when you don't turn over most of your punches anyway.

Perez made this fight alot harder than it had to be.

Tua-made good money. Probably didn't spend it. Sort of semi-retired for a long time after the Lennox loss. Very inactive, then fighting some bums, some decent fighters, etc..., but never consistently having a purpose.

Teddy-you are right, Perez needs to go back into the blackboard in the gym and do alot of work. Only problem is this trainer isn't helping. It doesn't seem like Perez knows how to fight the way Teddy is describing.

Perez had a good learning experience should get the win, got humbled, his little tough boy bullshit and not touching gloves act is over I think

I dont get it to be honest both of those guys are in a different division and are on a different level. Bradley would get KO'd by Pac and outboxed by Floyd and it would not be close in either case.
