Does Chael Sonnen really believe this nonsense he has been spewing?

I'd find it really hard to believe that Sonnen doesn't think he's going to beat Anderson

I wouldn't say he believes it fully. But he definitely thinks he can win, which is refreshing to see in the Middleweight division.

He does think he can right now. We will see if he thinks that after a minute into the fight. I wonder what in the heck he thinks he is gonna do? He can't trade punches for sure and I hope he knows that. I think in some way he is thinking he can psych Spider out.

Sonnen believes the garbage he spews but it's not going to happen. I hope Silva keeps punching him even when he's unconscious or doesn't let go when Sonnen taps.

after being a big underdog in the nate fight the man has some confidence for sure plus alot of pride.

I love Chael Sonnen more and more everyday. Watching him make people get all angry, whiney and politically asshurt is gold.

Agree with Wolf. However, I think Chael either A. Knows something we don't and is going to exploit it. Or B. is slowly going insane and thinks he really can beat the shit out of Anderson.

Either way this is a good build up for a match.

he did some fan expo and someone asked him what will happen if he is unable to take spider down and he said he will lose... I don't see why Sonnen shouldn't feel like he has a chance to win.. he seems like he is quite alright with getting a controlled victory here.

Chael might actually be stupid enough to think he can win. He's the bully in the school yard who starts a fight and makes sure everyone gathers around to see him beat the kid up. Then the bell rings and Anderson flying knees him in the face and decapitates him......

if this fight stays standing which i highly, very highly doubt it will we all know what the result will be, but if it goes to the ground i can see IMO a travis lutter-esque type of ending to this fight
