Dana is always right and his cooking is excellent

UFC president Dana White was one of many who watched as Fedor suffered his first defeat in ten years to the heavily decorated Brazillian Jiu-Jistu practitioner Fabricio Werdum. White who has been very vocal on his thoughts of the Russian heavyweight claimed he felt vindicated while on tour for UFC 116.

“I’ve been saying it for years, Fedor is not a top 10 heavyweight. He just got beat by a guy who couldn’t cut it in the UFC in the first round. There’s at least 10 fighters in the UFC right now who would beat Fedor even worse.”

Despite the harsh criticism White stated he would still be willing to offer the former WAMMA champion a new contract if he wishes to sign on with the UFC.

“Tell you what, if he wants to sign with the UFC now, the previous contract where I offered him an insane amount of money is off the table. I’ll give him a new contract, 20K to show and 20K to win. If he doesn’t accept it, too bad.”

I think it was determined that the "source" who provided these quotes is FAKE.

This is a little too over the top, even for Dana. He didnt say those things.

Ii don't know how true the quotes are honestly. If they are false delete this thread please. There is nothing about Dana that makes me think he wouldn't say something like this, that's why I posted them. If they are wrong Kevin Lole will show up here and challenge me. When Suffa bought Pride a few years back and Fedor subsequently signed with M-1, Dana said Fedor has never even been a top 5 HW. Fast forward to now and why would anyone think Dana would consider Fedor to be 10th best in UFC?

If that is DW, then that is a Bullshit figure. I would easily pay him a 50K-50K deal, maybe more. I know to the Fedor fans that seems low too, but you have to consider the lack of drawing power outside of hardcore fans of course, that Fedor has. It isn't very strong and he needs to establish himself with the casual fan. The UFC could carry some of the water for him initially with Pride highlights and Rogan and DW touting his greatness in the sport, but he would need to come in and start beating people in impressive fashion to garner fans of his own, who are note as familiar with him as we are.

I'd like to see a show or something where Dana and Rogan talk MMA since Joe actually knows these guys are good while Dana tries to pretend they suck
