| Does the recent signings of Fedor, Mousasi and others mean they're becoming a major league? What would it take for Strikeforce to become a major player? They already have 3-4 top 10 HW's including Fedor, Rogers, Overeem* and Werdum.
*as if he will ever fight for them.

| Well according to us they have 6 top 10 fighters: Fedor, Rogers, Overeem, Lawler, Mousasi, & Shields. Diaz's lack of a weight class probably makes 7. 7 out of 50 is not very good. They are not the UFC and won't get there. They are a smaller org that might in some trouble, now that they are on the UFCs bad side. These other top 10 guys (Diaz, Shields, Lawler) are going to see what Fedor got and demand more. Fedor their highest paid guy is not a huge PPV draw which is ultimately what Shotime wants to do with SF. | |

| They however do have a womens division with real talent. "Top ten" is based often on perspective and exposure, so if Strikeforce finds and locks up young talent they could easily grow some top ten fighters themselves. | |

| I think so. I just want to see them continue to build depth in their division's so guys like Shields, Diaz, Thomson, Babalu, and Melendez don't leave because there is no competition. They have a few good prospects, a few top fighters in their primes, and a couple old school guys like Shamrock, Randleman, and Baroni.
Besides that, deal with Showtime and CBS, the best HW in the world, does not scream minor leagues.

| No. They are not quite in the majors yet. With that analogy, they have 3-4-5 hitters in their line-up, but the bottom of their order is suspect. The bullpen needs help too. They do have a top-of-the-line closer in Mr Fedro. Stikeforce to me, at this point, they aren't hitting white balls for batting practice, or do the women all have long legs and brains. | |

| I think with the addition of Fedor, Stikeforce goes under. CBS will come fuck with their show and waste heka cash. They don't see 2011. | |

Well that analogy makes it look like they are in the majors, but are on a young an upcoming team. Which is how I see them. Though they may lack in true top talent, they do not lack in exciting fights. This next show with Diaz and the ladies, could be a barn burner.

You can't have the best player in the game and not be in the majors. Is there only one major league org in MMA? Or can we allow that even amongst the major org's there is a clear cut dominant org?

| they have like 30 total fighters for that entire organization, yes they also have some big names but names that wont generate a whole lot of pay per view numbers. They will probably be putting on 4 shows a year before they go out of business as well. | |

| Why would Fedor bankrupt them? They've been around since 1985 promoting kickboxing. They're stable. | |

If you include shomma they've already put on 4 shows this year. Since the acquisition of the Elite fighters in April this is their 3rd major event. A big card everyother month, with a shomma in between. a 12 events a year pace.

| They are not yet major league. Yes they now have 1 fighter who is known to be the best in his division. The ufc has the rest. They are not what pride was back in the day they are still up and coming. Jacare was a good sign too. | |

| I don't think you need the best fighter in a division to be a major league. They have top ten fighters in every division, that qualifies them in my book. | |
