maybe the venue for Silva vs. Sonnen?

Don't see them pulling out the major announcement vid for a fighter signing, even if it is Fedor.

I'm leaning towards them announcing they booked a soccer stadium for the next Brazil show like they been talking about for the last year. Atleast thats what i hope.

Legalization in NY is a process and something that would be pretty public. So if it was that MMA was about to be legal in NY..we wouldnt have to wait for a UFC announcement to know it's happening on that particular day...and as far as i know, it won't be. I know a big barrier stepped down recently but i don't see anything being announcement worthy over the next few days or probably weeks.

I can see them doing a press conference over signing Fedor if it also involved them doing a show in Russia where Fedor will be fighting. Other than that, don't see them doing a conference just because they signed Fedor.

Maybe something to do with Melendez?

We'll see...Major UFC Announcement often means nothing UFC announcement.

Word is they are just announcing an event in Calgary...and..yeah.

the last "Major" announcement was that they were going to Atlanta..and it's reported this conference will be in Calgary.
