So I'm really looking forward to Beltran vs Te Huna. Beltran just brings the kind of fight I appreciate, talent level be damned. You know he is a guy that is going to move forward and strike, he forces the fight. Te Huna isn't as aggressive but way more dangerous. Beltran is gonna hurt, but Te Huna is going to really have to smash him to stop him, he isn't easy to finish. This is the one I'm looking forward to the most. More than the main.
Munoz vs Weidman, I wanna see it sure, but I wanna see most fights. I could see people not wanting to see this fight, a lot of mma fans included. I like Munoz, but he is riding the fence for me on what type of fighter he is. I'd really like to see him primarily strike and never wrestle, only to stop takedowns. He doesn't have wrestling in MMA figured out yet and I'm not convinced the deficiency is resolved tonight. What he is alright at is hitting hard, knocking people over, and hitting them hard again. He needs to be a Liddell type. Anyways, I don't really know what Weidman does well except for supposedly wrestling. I've only seen 3 of his fights and he doesn't look anymore special than Munoz there to me. He was efficient vs Lawlor, and schooled Bobnglefoot, but those don't translate to efficiently schooling Munoz to me there. I thin Munoz catches him and pounces. He has some of the better finishing GnP right now.
Dos Anjos vs Njokuani is on my radar too. Dos Anjos is kinda on the verge it sometimes seems of making an impact at 155. He just keeps getting stalled at the top end of tier 2. Even though he should beat Antony, I'm picking the upset because it seems like the right kind of consistency now for Kjokunai to win and Dos Anjos to fall a few rungs down again.
Got the eye on a few TUFers fights too.
Bruce Leeroy vs Damcio Page is cool. Leeroy is actually pretty deceptive in his ability on the ground. Page really really needs this win, I hope he gets it. He can't fudge up and end up on his ass though, he'll get tapped if he does.
Wanna see how TJ Dillishaw looks. Probably an easy fight I think.
Carisio vs Ferguson could be a good one. Carisio is underrated. I think he gets the win. Hoping Ferguson can make it interesting.
