| Vernon White? LOL.
His biggest career moment was taking an absolute shelling at the hands of Liddell only to be KO'd late in the round by a phantom punch.
Who runs the den now? | |

| I am pretty sure I posted a video awhile back of Tito having surgery on his neck. The guy had to quit. I don't think he is a pussy for it at all. Maybe it is just him getting older, but he looked sick in the few shows of TUF I have watched this season. His face and body looked way different than a year ago. I think Tito knew about it all going in to the show and tried to get his name back in the spot light and couldn't take the risk after all. | |

| Ya, maybe he thought at first he could rehab it or fight through it. I know he isn't scared of Chuck anymore. I wouldn't even be scared of Chuck anymore. (lie) | |

Who runs the den now? ya wolf going 15 with Machida in 2007, beating Matyushenko, David Terrell, Minori Suzuki, Ryushi Yanagisawa, Masaka Funaki, and Leon Dijk, and having losses to Bas Rutten, Frank Shamrock, Chuck Liddell, Remco Pardoel, Pedro Rizzo and Kazushi Sakuraba isnt impressive at all I swear your better served to not say anything at all when its clear you dont know waht your talking about Notice the Liddell fight is probably the only Vernon White fight you ever saw or else you wouldnt be so lost on the subject. Ken and Vernon prettymuch run the Den know

| Yo Vernon has some ok wins on his resume, the best being Vlad in the 90 or some shit and some of the jap legends, but isn't he like ten fights under 500 for his career? He has had long terrible losing streaks throughout his entire career. He is at best a Travis Fulton, Dan Severn type, but then again those guys were elite at one time, Vernon never was.
also bird you can stop getting personal anytime you disagree with me on one of your stupid overrated lions den fighters. Vernon White is the stereotypical journeyman if MMA ever had one. Denying this is completely insane.

| look up his record and look who he was fighting, big difference between Severn and Travis Fultons competition
26-34-2 , went 5-14 in his first 19 fights, then peaked and went 15-5 from 1995 to 2002
was 0-3-1 going into his fight with Chuck, and he gave Chuck a good fight
when you say stuff like, didnt Tito Ortiz make Lions Den not amtter, Im gonna call you out on it and point out that he didnt, sorry.

| Tito wouldve more than likely won, but I can argue if Vernon had Chuck on wobbly legs he could have had Tito turning and running, but more than likely Tito just takes the fight to the ground = big advantage Tito
if i had to rank the Lions Den guys I dont know where I would put Vernon cause it depends on which Vernon shows up.

| Vernon putting Chuck on wobbly legs is more an indication that Liddell was actually a shitty striker that was just a good puncher than how Vernon would fare against Ortiz. | |

| I see your point bird, but tell me, you don't think Liddell's overall striking skills are overrated? He had a granite chin, a the best sprawl in the game, and amazing power, but I don't know if I have ever seen him face a striker who didn't come a cunt hair away from knocking him out. Overeem nearly finished him, Guy nearly finished him, Tiger nearly finished him. Wand dropped him once, Jardine dropped him once. He lost everytime he fought Jackson. Shogun mauled him. Rashad nearly killed him. Hell in the second fight Tito hurt him pretty badly. Randy in their first fight out boxed him.
Liddell's chin losing its superhuman power is like literally the only difference between washed up Liddell and Prime Liddell.

| ya but that chin was great
Mezger had Wanderlei shucking and jiving as well, so nothing wrong with getting rocked by a Prime Mezger, Vernon was a lways a good stand up fighter, Overeem as well, so no, I see nothing wrong with having close fights and then beating all the men listed
Rampage was always wrong for Chuck, Jardine and Rashad got to Chuck when he was past it IMO
Add in the fact CHUCK KO'd Guy, Vernon, Overeem, and Tito twice, so no, I dont think his stand up skills are overrated

| Not sure how is still going on, but to Wolfy's point, Chuck's standup skills may have been overrated to the fact he was never outstriking other great strikers, he was mostly outstriking great wrestlers who were all good matchups for him. | |

| he beat the living shit out of overeem. Granted he wasn't the striker he is now, but i disagree on Chuck's striking being overrated. Is it textbook? Fuck no, but it gets the job done. | |

Guy Mezger, Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei, and Overeem are all good stand up fighters that Chuck KO'd or beat but i get waht your saying Randy and Ortiz were good wrestlers beat some grapplers too in Bustamante and Horn

| Bingo.
Chuck Liddell would never make the semis in K1, and he might not even make it to the main tournament at all.

| Chuck would just rope a dope those guys and hit them once they were tired and had broken hands. He won the fights, which is what matters, but it wasn't just his skills, it was his chin. | |

| Chuck's barrages on tito and others throughout his career have been some of the most vicious i've ever seen in any combat sport. That dude in his prime could bang with anyone and probably ko them. Im talking mma here, not fucking k-1. This isn't the kickboxing section wolf, it's mma. Im not sure what you saying "chuck wouldn't do well in k-1" has to do with anything. | |

| Overeem was very young while Chuck was in his prime, he was taking it to chuck at first.
Guy was pretty solid
Vitor was the Vitor that wilted under pressure
The Wandy fight was both past their Prime
I'm a huge Chuck fan, but the reality is some of the strikers today would be horrible fights even for Prime Chuck.
It's his legacy and resume which make him 1/2 all-time at LHW, but based on talent is a different story at this point.
Even Randy outstruck Chuck once.

| disagree LA, Randy took Chuck down at will, even while Chuck was holding the fence, he ground and pounded chuck, he didnt control the stand up | |

| Yea and Machida got ktfo so what is your point? Everyone get's caught at one point or another. If Chuck and Randy fight 10 times Chuck ko's him 9. Same for Tito. | |
