| Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs meldrick Taylor - inept ref? good ref? Don King? we will never know what would have happened in those 6 seconds
Muhammad Ali vs Sonny Liston 2 - forever I will be convinced Sonny said to hell with this.
Primo Carnera's entire career - what was legit ? what wasn't?
Pernell Whitaker vs Chavez Jr - a friekin DRAW????
Pernell Whitaker vs Oscar De La Hoya - an old Pea mighta beat the prime Oscar
Antonio Margarito vs Miguel Cotto - was he plastered up?
Riddick Bowe vs Evander Holyfield 2 - the 7th round (which was fan man round) was the deciding round, 2 judges gave it to Holyfield 1 to Bowe. Bowe was controlling the round before fan man.
Tom Sharkey vs Bob Fitzsimmons - Fitz is winning before Wyatt Earp (Sharkey's buddy) DQ's Fitz
Jack Dempsey vs Jess Willard - anything in those gloves Mr. Dempsey???
Jack Johnson vs Stanley Ketchell - was this a set up, how much was a set up, was it a set up with Ketchell pulling a double cross. Who the F really knows?
Joe Frazier vs Muhammad Ali 3 - If Joe had stood up to come out for the 15th round, would Muhammad have done the same?
special reminder from Rum
Arguello vs Pryor - black bottle, Panama Lewis, need I say more??

| Floyd Mayweather Jr vs JLC. JLC won that fight easy.
Pac vs JMM 1. One judge fucks up and doesnt score all the knockdowns causing a draw. |

| It took me a long time to get over JCC-Meldrick. I was furious for a LOONG time over that. There is still a small part of me that is heartbroken to this day about that night.
But after growing older and learning more and more about the game, I've come to the conclusion that Steele did the right thing.
In a perfect world, Meldrick would have survived the fight and gotten his win. But there is much more that went into what happened than just demonizing Richard Steele.
Steele was a damn fine referee and it's a shame that his whole career is going to be judged by what happened that night.

I actually never bought this. Ali stood up and was ready to come out for round 15. When they announced that the event was over, it was then that he collasped from relief. If they had announced it after the 13th, he would've feinted then. Joe fought one of greatest fights in the history of the HV division but Ali was coming out for round 15. My opinion.

| but if you read Freddie Pachecos book he basically admitted himself he didnt think muhammad could have continued, he was telling them he thought he was dying.
If Muhammad was telling them that, and they would have sent him out, than Eddie Futch deserves alot more credit for protecting his fighter imo

We'll never really know. Ali quitting on his stool after having the best round he ever had against Joe? I can't bring myself to believe it. I have no problem, however, with those that do. One thing is for certain. Joe showed more courage that night than anyone I ever saw.

| actualy ali was not standing to come out for round 15..he was sitting on the stoll exhausted glassy eyed and was being fanned with towels in this corner..ali has admitted several times that he thought about quiting at that moment..he would of come out for the 15th no doubt cause dundee and others would encourage it..neigther had much left at that point and after the first minute and a half ali may get a second wind to land a few on joe then the bell rings.. | |

| your recollection is right dmar, he was sitting there getting fanned, looking like he was done IMO. his legs were done, they were rubbing them if i rmember correct.
feel bad cause Joe wins that fight if they keep the swelling under control IMO

| Cintron vs. Martinez
1- how was it not a knockout for Martinez? 2-what fight were the refs watching, Cintron's own momma probably doesn't believe Cintron should have gotten a draw!!!

| I was at Holyfield vs Bowe II and I have a different view than most. I think Fan Man saved Bowe from being KOd that night. Bowe was hurt pretty badly at the end of the fifth round and then in the sixth he took some big shots and was starting to panick a little because of the cut he had sustained. It was the first time he had ever been cut like that and he was not handling it well. His concentration was shot and he was getting tagged. The rest ater Fan man made his enterance allowed him to collect himself and get back on track. | |

That was Elijah Tillery and it happened after Tillery had already kicked Bowe in the groin once and tried to kick him a second time.

That was Elijah Tillery and it happened after Tillery had already kicked Bowe in the groin once and tried to kick him a second time. That wasn't as controversial as it was funny and crazy. I recall watching that fight on USA Tuesday Night Fights. Rock Newman lifts Tillery over the top rope and into the audience. Talk about professional wrestling. We had it that night. Rock reminded me of "Captain Lou Albino."
