| After Fedor vs Rogers someone told me "any MMA fan knows big John never amkes a mistake." I took him literally, he claimed to have not literally meant that. But none the less our conversation inspired this thread too show you guys that nobody is perfect. Even the most famous MMA referee.
Exhibit A - Tank Abbott fights After UFC 8 - after Tank Abbott called Big john's wife a bitch at UFC 8, well he was always pretty damn quick to stand an active Tank up and let an unactive fighter lay on tank without much action for long stretchs of time. Ultimate Ultimate vs Dan Severn, UFC 11 Ferrozzo fight, MAINLY Don Frye Ultimate Japan fight, Maurice Smith and Pedro Rizzo all had controversial calls or no calls.
Exhibit B- Bas Rutten - Old UFC brass are preying Bas Rutten will make UFC popular again. UFC 18 vs Tsuyoshi Kohsaka is his come out party in UFC, it doesnt go well Tsuyoshi takes him down easy and is very active on the ground. BUT BIG JOHN STANDS HIM UP, very controversial, no big deal Tsuyoshi takes him down again, and BIG JOHN STANDS THEM UP even though Tsuyoshi was dominating Rutten, the second stand up gives Bas his chance and he eventually stops tsuyoshi. uFc 20 vs kevin Randleman, what do yall think happens???? Rutten gets taken down and cut on 2 different occasions and gets 2 controversial stand ups for his reward. 2 UFC fights for Bas Rutten and 4 saving stand ups
Exhibit C Pat Miletich - recieved a bullshit point deduction break as Mikey burnett recieved a point deduction for a low blow that was not intentional at all.
Not alot but jsut showing yall nobody is perfect. This is all I can think of off the top of my head, add if you guys remember some.

| If you're insinuating the Fedor fight was stopped early, you're wrong, so don't even go there. Anwyays, you don't have to go back to the Tank Abbott era to find controversial calls by big John. lol | |

| Big John is one of the better refs out there for sure. It's a shame he can't get a job in Nevada. | |

No not insinuating that at all, but when some were some one kept repeating over and over how Big john has never blown a call and is the greatest referee ever, I just thought it was funny cause i could remember about 8 blown calls off the top of my head

| Funny you should bring that argument here Bird. The fact is your still wrong Big John did make the right call in Fedor vs Rogers. Not to mention trolls are running rampant at ESPN and you got me banned from there when I didn't even break the rules and I had been posting there 5 years before your dumb ass even showed up. This is what I said. "Ask any real MMA fan and they will tell ya Big John is the best referee and never screws up a call. The next best is Mario Yamasake."and you tried to act like I thought Big John had never missed a call in his life and tried to spin it any way you could. Now you wanna come here spewing your BS and lies again? GTFO Here is the thread if anyone cares. http://boards.espn.go.com/boards/mb/mb?sport=boxing&id=boxing&tid=5810296 | |

| and just a tip to you so you can realize I didnt, you even told me that you thought i banned you and then said but you banned me too our something.
I never got banned though even though you attempted too, which means someone or a mod, banned you, and then could ban you again for 1. making a 2nd name 2. Claiming someone has banned you. 3. attempting to ban someone for no reason.
Email the ESPN guys from the board, those are all ways to get banned by mods and all things you did. You did it to yourself more than likely and i did nothing
My account was never affected cause I never broke the rules, sorry you got banned but you claiming i banned you over a Big John mcCarthy argument is petty

You said it in the other thread that you decided to bring back up here. Have you come to realize that it was not a quick stoppage? "too quick of a stoppage by McCarthy" Posted by Birdofthad - Birdofthad wrote:

My account was never affected cause I never broke the rules, sorry you got banned but you claiming i banned you over a Big John mcCarthy argument is petty The 3 things you mentioned I did after I was already banned so it was already done by that point. Also that was the only thread I was posting in when I got banned and you were the only person I was discussing with. You reported me because you were mad about being wrong. A mod did make the final decision in pulling the trigger. But as people have shown before on the ESPN forum you can ban someone even if they didnt break any rules because most of the mods are bots and they have trolls running rampant who dont get banned because no one has clicked the report button. Aint no sweat though man because there is to many idiots over at ESPN anyway so I dont post there anymore. I would have never said anything but you brought it up.

| Rogers was in a fetal position cowaring away from the death blows. If that stoppage was early then so Irvin-Silva, Faber-Brown 1 or Brown-Aldo or Liddell-Tito 2 or Wandy - Page 1 or Shogun-Rampage ect ect. | |
