| Fight Night with Kenny and Gomi or that awful UFC event I gladly skipped last night.
I missed them both, and have not seen either yet.

| Watching two of the top four or five p4p fighters under perform/get robbed is something I am glad I missed. Penn must still not be popular, had GSP been robbed as Penn appears to have been, the world would come to an end. | |

So based on something you have no idea about because you haven't seen it, you have concluded Penn is not popular because there hasn't been a huge uproar. Based on that logic Shogun must be more popular than Penn too because everyone freaked out about that decision. Or maybe it wasn't that bad and you should actually watch it before you give an uninformed opinion.

Penn wasn't robbed. Im not sure how u think he wasnt! He won the fight although I guess robbed may be alittle harsh. BJ definitely won the fight though.

| I wouldn't say he was Robbed, but they definitely got the decision wrong. It wasn't clear cut robbery as though BJ beat the snot out of Edgar for 5 rounds only to lose a decision, but he did win two rounds clear cut, and lost two rounds clear cut. The third round could have gone either way. I agree something looked wrong with BJ. Could have been the heat of being outdoors, could have been he came in with an injury and didn't tell anyone, it could have been he overlooked Edgar, we don't know. He wasn't robbed, but he should still have the belt. | |

| This Mr Nice Guy routine I have been playing for the last couple months has caused normally passive aggressive weiners like farmer to become more and more brazen. Farmer ; you seem dead set on starting something between us. Take your anger out on your fat wife, and watch how you post towards me, just a friendly tip. The fact you are a mod is the one and only reason I cut you slack for your snide comments, but you're running low on good will.
The fight was close, most saw it for Penn. If Penn was truly popular like other champions are, such as GSP, this would be a huge controversy, which it doesn't appear it be. These are all facts whether you've seen the fight or not. Even if I think Edgar won personally, it wouldn't change the fact most people think Penn should have won.
I didn't even comment on the fight itself. You're just looking for a reason to pot shot at me farmer. Cool your little Republican, God fearing, asshurt jets.

| I say save your time and skip both.
..and Penn was robbed. A close fight, yes. Wrong decision, yes. It does not have to be Bisping-Hamill for it to be a robbery. If you get the decision wrong, even if it's air tight...which if i don't even think this fight was...ESPECIALLY WHEN A TITLE BELT IS INVOLVED...IT IS A ROBBERY.
I notice it seems to be an underdog thing. Everybody accepts a bunk or controversial decision when the underdog goes over(Edgar and Forrest) but when the champ and overwhelming favorite goes over (Machida) its bad for the sport and the champ has been exposed, blah blah.
It's a shame BJ lost his LW title yet i can't see the guy who "beat" him as the champ. i think THAT is bad for the sport. Edgar is not the legit champ.
Anybody notice Edgar's face after the 50-45 score was announced? he shook his head in disagreement as if "fuck that, i won atleast 1 or 2 rounds"...Frankie Edgar KNOWS he did not win that fight.
Those judges might as well been wearing ski masks and carrying guns. Penn was fuckin robbed.

| That may be the worst title robbery in UFC history. A wrong decision is a wrong decision. At least Forrest utterly dominated Rampage for a complete round, and otherwise fought competitively the whole time.
BJ Penn won 3 rounds easily and probably four. 112 was a complete and utter nightmare.
The UFC had two of their champions destroyed as PPV draws and fan favorites, and one of them lost maybe a round.

That's the attitude of a biased fan of BJ which is what you are lol Bobbitt me being a fan has nothing to do with the bs those judges pulled on BJ. It was a terrible decision and also bad for the sport. Im not a Shogun fan but was pissed about that decision also and he didnt get robbed no where near as bad as BJ did yesterday. Fact is this decision reminds me of the Bisping-Hammil fight!
