| Biggest fight I missed was Hopkins - Trinidad. Had a nice date that night with a beautiful chick who hated boxing. If I had it to do over, I would've missed the fight again. I came close to missing the 1st Tyson - Holyfield fight for the same reason. Took a chick to see a movie then I took her out for pizza. She was boring the hell out of me and had a weird personality. I thought to myself, "What the f....k am I doing?? I ditched her (Drove her back to her car) and joined my buddies for the fight. Easily my favorite night of boxing in the 90s. We were all there pushing for Holyfield and got everything we wanted. (Note: This subject was borrowed from "King Daddy" at Espn. ) | |

| Oh Chico vs. Castillo 1. I recall being excited about the fight coming in. Then I'm watching it and I'm getting louder and louder as the rounds go on. When a fight is good, my wife knows, as I'm up out of the chair.
In round 10, she tried to stop me and ask why I was practically screaming at the tv. It was that kind of fight to watch live. Me: Damn it Chico. (1st knockdown) Me: Shit, down again. Shit, that point is gonna be huge. (after 2nd knockdown). Joe Goosen: "You gotta fucking get inside on him now" Me: Damn right.
Then the greatest in round comeback these eyes have seen and probably ever will see.

| I guess Mayweather-Marquez. Still haven't seen it to this day. Refuse to even make myself watch that joke of a fight for 2 minutes | |

I can't remember why but I missed seeing Hopkins-Trinidad live on HBO, it might have been a PPV. I didn't see the replay of the fight until a couple weeks later, it was a masterpiece by B-Hop, his best fight ever. I remember Big George calling the fight and being all over Trinidad's nuts, thinking he was going to KO old man Hopkins any minute. Somewhere around the 10th round Foreman finally realized that Hopkins wasn't going to get tired or knocked out, and that he was handing Trinidad his ass. I don't think Foreman totally gave up on the idea that Trinidad was going to win, until Hopkins planted him on the seat of his pants in the 12th round. Great fight BTW, one of my all time favorites.
