| I really don't rate them at all . They happen to be in a very weak Heavyweight division and to top it all off , they're 6'6 and 6'7 giants , with 80" + reaches.
Wladimir dominates his opponents but is too petrified to go for the kill.
Vitali is actually decent but his career has been hampered by injuries. |

| Knew I could count on Ali for a post
I think they're good, but look much better due to a weak HW era

| Wladimir's problem is those 3 knockout losses he received early his career . Now he's too cautious for his own good , Manny literally has to yell, berate and insult him to go for the knockout . |

| First, we know they used steroids, so thats a strike against them, or atleast Vitali did
second, this is the worst crop of heavyweights ever
They dominate that crop and have still managed to drop losses to Chris Byrd, Corrie Sanders, and Lamon Brewster
That being said , they are the best heavyweights of their era (After Lewis retired)
Vitali is better than Wladimir IMO
Neither is a top 20 Heavyweight All Time

Neither is a top 20 Heavyweight All Time Talent wise I think Wlad is better than Vitali but he has no heart at all. He has quit on the stool before and has been destroyed by nobodies. Vitali has alot of heart but so injury prone it is sick. The fact that they wont fight each other is cool but the problem is there is nobody else to fight.

| The only quality opponent either has really faced was Vitali's fight with Lennox which was a war. Wlad has grown on me over the years. Both are really good but it will be hard to every know how truly great they were | |

| think you confused yourself just a tad tim
Vitali quit on his stool vs Chris Byrd, Wlad has just been knocked naked several times
Also Wlad was very, and I mean extremely close to getting starched by Sam Peter
You are right though Vitali is to injury prone and like Ali said Wlad fights cautious know

| also as far as their jabs go I have always said this (atleast for some time know)
They have the worst of the best
meaning they have great jabs but Liston, Holmes, Ali, Foreman, etc. were better at the elite level than theres IMO

| Ross Puriety ,Lamon Brewster and Corrie Sanders all knocked out Wladimir Klitschko. Samuel Peter had him down 3 times. |

You are right though Vitali is to injury prone and like Ali said Wlad fights cautious know Nice catch it was Vitali ur right that quit against Byrd. Wlad would be loved by American fans if he was in more wars like the fight he was in against Sam Peter. He might have not won as many fights but he would definitely be a fan favorite.

| agree Tim, he has decided to win and not be crowd pleasing rather than possibly lose and be exciting
I will never forget, I was in Europe flying home the day of Wladimir vs Ray Mercer, I got a neighbor to record it for me and I avoided all news of the fight
Anyone (ALI especially) remember how Wlad was Donkey Kong punching Ray's guard and then following up with a right hand, I was like god damn what the fuck was that. He came out doing it against Sultan but more of a slap.
I remember watching that Sanders Klitschko fight absolutely shit faced (as shit faced as a 15 year old could be at the time) and I remember thinking is this really happening? When it was over I kept asking, did we seriously already watch the fgiht ?????
Couldnt believe it
Thank god for the Klits dominance though or else the division would be ultra pathetic
How Pathetic???
Hasim Rahman might have become a 3 time title holder.

| Hopefully David Haye brings more legitimacy to the division. It is a weak division, but with their size, I think they would be tough in any era. I don't like using the weak division argument -- how can a fighter help it and does it only appear weak because it is being dominated? | |
