| If he gets the winner of that, then there is nothing left besides a title fight. | |

| Personally, I think it is a warranted ducking. I thought his last performance was more of a step backwards then forwards. He might of too and doesn't feel he deserves it. He has said he is not ready for BJ, I give him props for being big enough to come out and say that. But like you said, he can only toil undefeated for so long. | |

| He can't beat Keeny and I think he would struggle against Gomi. Best just to shut up and hope they give you a match you can win, but keep developing your skills. Kenny, doesn't have the worlds strongest chin, but he is smarter than Maynard and know how to work it. Gomi is old school tough and has "drank more beer, banged more quiff, and pissed more blood" than Gray. | |

| Good that he listens to Joe Silva and sends that twitter. You guys do realize that right? He talked junk about BJ and now all of a sudden he says he isn't ready. I think the powers that be are at work here imo. I do believe he should fight the winner of this fight though. If he wins this fight then he better get ready to clash with BJ. Then BJ can show him what coaching and fighting is all about. | |

Huh? He can't beat Kenny or Gomi? What are you smoking? Kenny vs Maynard would look like Sherk vs Kenny. Kenny would be on his back the entire fight. As for Gomi what the fuck would he do to Gray? He would gas out after one round fighting at Gray's pace.

Good point Bj aint gonna stick around beating off scrubs forever. I think after Frankie he may jump up to 170 again to try and get a piece a gsp. But this time he'll haved to earn his shot!

| Frankly, Gray should be fighting BJ next instead of Edgar. He's the rare guy that doesn't seem obsessed with a title shot, but he's clearly the UFC's #1. I wouldn't worry about him against either Kenny or Gomi either. His wins may not be pretty, but neither are Jon Fitch's and he's the #2 WW in the world. | |

| What am I smoking? What are you smoking? We are not talking the Kenflo who fought Sherk, we are talking the one who in his last 9 fights has only been beaten by Penn and with the exception of Huerta, I can't think of one he didn't finish. Kenny is easily the 2nd best LW in the world and until proven otherwise, will remain that way. | |

| Kenny hasn't beaten a top 10 LW over that time span, he hasn't ever beaten a top 10 LW period. I like Kenny but chill. | |

Yeah I agree with LA. I won't call you crazy for saying Kenny is #2 LW but saying he is "easily #2" is stretching it. I think there are a couple people you can argue for that spot.

I'd pick Sherk against Florian right now.

I'd pick Sherk against Florian right now. I think that's a match that makes a lot of sense, rather than Gray. Let them fight to see who faces BJ after he goes through Frankie and Gray. Those two will probably just keep taking out title contenders so let them just take out each other.

I'd pick Sherk against Florian right now. Its hard to tell with these LWs. The second best LW in the world is between 3 or 4 guys atleast. Kenflo hasn't done anything to set himself apart. He's very good but there's others right there with him

| Sherk can't seem to stay healthy for a fight these days. Gray is probably the better choice anyway since he knows where his bread and butter is, the Diaz fight not withstanding. | |

| The crazy thing is how far the #2 guy is from the #1 guy in the LW division. BJ owns the division. | |

| as does Anderson the Middleweight, and GSP at Welterweight. What it's going to come down to is who vacates/retires/gets caught first. Those are the only ways the titles will change hands. Either GSP gets caught by Hardy or he vacates the belt when he makes a move to 185. Same for BJ, Anderson could retire sooner than later though. Anderson also has the best chance of getting caught though with the cutsie hands-at-waist-tactic shit. | |
