| Where was this after the fight? Randy didn't have that same confidence then, it wasn't until AFTER Edgar was named #1 contender. Nice try Randy. | |

| Randy probably just has that much confidence in Maynard's wrestling. The guy's a beast and I did confirm that he has the highest takedown percentage in the UFC. If he wants you on your back, he's gonna put you there. Of course I'm not saying that Gray putting BJ on his back would be all that helpful, but it's certainly something he can probably do successfully. And no matter if he loses the fight, it will still be cool to see him try to take BJ down if only to see BJ's balance put to the test by the best wrestler he's faced at lw. I'm sorry, but I really do feel like Gray absolutely should get the shot over Edgar because let's face it, Edgar's gonna get destroyed by BJ. At least Gray might be able to last a few rounds if he can take him down and not get submitted. | |
