| Rashad only wins this fight with punches if he wins. Wanderlei was never beaten with wrestling and only with lost punches if he did lose in five fights between himself and either Dan Henderson or Rampage Jackson.
Rashad will do what they didn't?
Wait, you guys think Wandy is that washed up?
I still have faith in him.

I still have faith in him. Washed up? No A few steps down from where he was several years ago and vulnerable to getting outwrestled by a high level college wrestler that has already out grappled a guy who just got done putting Wand on his back multiple times? Yes

| Wand gets put on his back in lots of fights. That is a symptom of his style moreso than an indictment of his wrestling.
Rashad fuckin Evans aint out wrestling no god damn Wanderlei Silva. This is madness.

| I hate how everyone always says wand is on the decline. Hmm He lost to rampage, Cro Cop head kick when he was still cro cop, Chuck in a war, Hendo, and Ace in a close decision. Now he is back with his original coach I am ready for the return of Wand! | |

| His chin isn't as tough as it used to be, but wrestling wise he is still one of the best defensive wrestlers in MMA.
Only Tito ever gnp'd him to victory and he has fought many bigger opponents with wrestling skills. Rashad aint special. He would either KO Silva or lose. No other option.

He went 1-5 from Sept 2006 to June 2009. I don't care who you are or who its against. You have a stretch like that, then you're going down.

| People said shogun was on the decline too then he came out and is the actual champ now. BJ penn must of been on the decline when he went 1-3 losing to GSP, Hughes, and Machida. Just using your theory bud. I will say wand is on the decline when he loses to someone he is supposed to beat. | |

1-5 over 3 year is not 1-3 over 2 years. Maybe if Penn lost to Pulver and Stevenson then you would have had a point. If he fought Page before his 1-4 streak then it would have been someone he was suppose to beat.

| How is he counting Mark Hunt in a 1-5 span consisting of Cro Cop, Henderson, Liddell, Jackson, and Franklin in which the only win was against Keith Jardine? | |

| oops got me lol. I will just say he is not finished and is only 32. I would not discredit the fact that during that time he moved to the US and was jumping camps. | |

| Not the same but close. Wand's fights were all against former top level champs minus Jardine. | |

| His losses in the UFC are still to Liddell, Rampage and Franklin.
Three fighters who will likely end up in the HoF.

| It's not like that was prime Chuck though, Rampage dropped him early and Franklin would never beat prime Wandy. BJ fought prime versions of GSP and Hughes and an open weighter vs. fucking Machida.
I don't remember why this started, but think whoever posted it did so relating to Wandy declining a bit, a bit, that's admittable.

| I donno when the argument turned this way, but I do know Rashad Evans isn't winning a UD with takedowns. | |

| I still think the quality of his opponents has a lot to do with his number of losses. Every loss is excusable on it's own, but the totality of losses that as a whole make it hard to believe Wandy has anything left.
But now, I think at MW, he may have something left.

| He can make some noise, but I don't see him beating a few of the MW's in the UFC. He will never have the title imo. | |
