Great fight, the only thing that annoys me, is if Melendez wins, I'm gonna have to hear about how he could hang with BJ and blah blah blah..

This is a huge win for SF. I can't wait for this fight.

Well, that comes with being the #2 ranked fighter. It would be awesome to see Melendez get the #2 ranking which would happen if he beat Aoki.

Nobody can hang with BJ though but it comes with the territory.

I think Aoki subs him pretty easily.

IMO Alvarez & JZ >>> Melendez

Awesome fight. I think Aoki submits him at some point

I get all that, it's just a personal thing, if anything it would reaffirm my opinion that a couple guys in the UFC LW division could beat Aoki.

I got Gil, more well rounded, and he hangs tight with some top notch jj players, certainly won't be out of his element in that dept.

If Gilbert wins he should have a little room to talk. I bet the line is around 3 to 1 with gilbert the underdog. He can talk it up but his word will mean nothing without the proper action, fighting the next best fighter. I'm gonna have to pick this one later if it doesn't fall through, but right now I'm leaning towards the Aoki.

I think Gilbert will win by tko. I could see it standing or ground and pound. Cesar Gracie is a great team and there fighters are starting a monopoly of the SF belts.

Hard fight to call imo. Gil should have some good enough sub defense training with the team he's got to defend the sub long enough to put hands on Aoki. I'm picking Gil TKO 1st round

Good team no doubt, but i think they have already reached their high water mark in terms of SF titles. And Hendo says the tide is going out.
