I found it .. I have seen kenny and mayweather go at it before and brian always makes him look stupid. Not hard to make most athletes look stupid. My point is that if you want to get the interviews, you have to be tactful during the interview. Kenny is lucky that he has the power behind ESPN to set up these interviews. Rome doesn't have that benefit. Even with that, after that interview I doubt he ever has Floyd again, and other fighters will look at him differently.

| There is a newer one of them two, where mayweather goes on a rant about MMA ... but of the one you are talking about.. seriously? Mayweather came off as a complete douchebag in that segment... He made no sense and was just talking a lot of shit | |

Well when you ask him a question like... why are you fighting marquez first? Why arnt you fighting Manny?" and he blows up rambling about nothing.. and even talking shit about kenny among all things said.. i dunno what you are expecting.

GolbeZ... I get what you are saying, but my reference was about the interviewers and not the interviewees. Floyd likes like a dumb shit in almost any interview. But Kenny looked like an amateur in how he handled it. You can't go out there looking like you have never conducted an interview before and expect results. His whole goal was to incite Floyd because he really hadn't prepared himself for a proper interview, IMO. It takes a much better and smarter journalist to conduct a well thought interview getting information from the subject than it does for some hack to pull this immature act... Something Rome learned after almost having his career ended at the hands of Jim Everett. What fighter would take him seriously or want to be interviewed by him after this? The only reason he will ge an interview now is because of ESPN and at the demands of a fighters manager. If he worked for an independent entity, no way he gets interviews after that act and is likely looking for work...

| For the most part all of the ESPN guys look like morons when they interview MMA guys. Rome is one of the few that "gets it" | |

| Well in his defense.. Brian Kenny is one of the boxing guys on ESPN.. he hosts FNF i believe .. which is why its always kenny and mayweather doing the interviews .. so he does know boxing, so him to get run around in an interview about boxing is unlikely.. that being said I understand what you are saying LTFG.. but to me from that interview it didnt seem like his goal going into that interview was to piss him off.. he just kept asking questions that floyd wasnt answering in his long winded responses. | |

| I get it... We see it from different angles. In my eyes Floyd's always antagonistic and just not very bright. Therefore, Kenny should have kept his cool and just asked and answered allowing Floyd to bury himself as usual, rather than laugh and taunt. Sure Floyd was ducking and barking incoherent sentences, but Kenny was acting like a school yard smart ass with a fence between him and a bully... | |
