Shields to be coach on TUF?

Looks like Shields is up for the job of assistant coach to Chuck for TUF. Thoughts

He makes it sound like coaching on TUF isn't going to stop him from fighting Hendo. He'll just train in Vegas.

After reading that again I should have just titled the thread Shields to coach TUF with Chuck. At first I thought he was saying he would do one or the other but I see now he's saying if he did do TUF with Chuck it would be good training for the fight with Hendo if it does get signed. My bad

Well he did say he's still not sure if the Hendo fight is a go.

Hopefully it is.

Interesting to see such a high profile SF fighter in a prominent role on a UFC tv show.

Nice short term benefit for SF, but possibly bad long term.

I doubt we'll see him much if at all. They usually don't feature the other coaches much and i can imagine it would be even less for a guy who is going to be on the upcoming CBS card possibly getting decapitated by the newest addition to the "pretend they no longer exist list" Dan Henderson.

I think the bigger factor is will Shields be the Chuck's main assistant. He's prob not, but if he is, I think it will be hard to hide him.

He has a ridiculous list of rumored coaches, find it in the threads if u can, but it's tough to say.
