| Its in the works so what do you guys think. I feel mir is getting the nod over cain and JDS due to him beating lesnar before and the first one to stop nog plus he is a former champ. I will agree cain is getting screwed for sure and JDS needs another quality win. | |

| Wow. I guess all it takes is to beat a scrub who not even a top 20 guy to get back in the mix. Meanwhile Guys like Nog, Cain, and JDS are beating legit guys. And Fedor doesn't fight anyone good? Carwin beat Gonzaga (not top 10) and Mir beat Kongo (Really not top 10) and they fight for a belt. Mir should atleast have to go through a healthy Nog first. | |

| I think Nog & Cain are just as deserving as Carwin & Mir, but its not too crazy. Anyway the winner of Nog-Cain should get the title shot vs the winner of Mir-Carwin. It'll get worked out... I think. | |

| If Cain keeps winning he'll get his title shot. Love this fight, though, can't wait. | |

| I think the Mir / Carwin fits a little better then Mir / Cain. I think it will put more fans in the seats at this point then any other fight with Brock side lined. - Quote :

I think so too. I think they are setting it up for a good second fight with the winer of Nog / Cain.

| Mir is big enough to match Carwin now, but it remains to be seen if his takedowns have improved at all. Typically they are sub-par. Mir's hand game has gone way up too. This fight is a lot closer than it would have been even a year ago.
I am still trying to get acclimated to respecting Frank Mir, but I may even pick him in this fight. Hard to say really though, considering it could end so fast in so many ways. Frank gets him down or gets taken down and he could instantly submit him, however on that same token, Mir could be immediately pounded out by Carwin's inhuman ground and pound. Standing, who knows who will have the better skills, I'd imagine Mir with his back ground and time in the game, but this fight could easily end by whoever connects first.
You could see Mir KOing or subbing Carwin just as easily as you could see Carwin KOing or GnPing Mir. I'm starting to love this fight.

| UFC is waiting or holding Cain back for the winner of this fight imo. Carwin vs Cain is a bad business move right now. Carwin vs Mir is an extra headliner with the winner vs Cain. | |

| Great match up , I would have picked Carwin to knockout Mir but after watching Mir improve his striking this year I believe it's a toss up now. |
