few, if any teams would beat the saints in new orleans on that form.
I think the Saints have a legit shot to make the SB again this year. However I think Miami beings to come back to reality. Still not buying them as a playoff team.
Also again, I have no idea why anyone was picking the Giants. They are just a bad team.

i think the dolphins have been overhyped - i don't see any real justification for being 7th in the power rankings ahead of teams like the 49ers & packers - but are definitely well in the mix for a playoff spot.

there is no credible argument that says teams like the chiefs, bengals, colts and chargers, the teams we'll be competing with for a spot, are so good that miami has no shot to make the playoffs. they aren't.

There is no such thing as a playoff mix after 4 games. Talk to me after week 8 about who is in the "mix". Right now the records don't tell the whole story. We know Jacksonville is very bad and Denver is very good. All else is up in the air.

I agree, even though they got ran through, the Dolphins have surprised me so far this year.

I look forward to it. I feel great about all predictions so far and still think by week 8 teams like Baltimore and Indy will be better then Miami.

The NFC East is the worst division I've ever seen. Right up there with the NFC West from a couple year s ago. I thought the Giants had enough offensive talent to go to 8-8 which would at least tie for the division

Won't matter, they are just bad. NFC East isn't very good this year but IMO Dallas, Eagles and Washington just aren't playing very well. The Giants, they just aren't very good. I'm pretty sure Dallas loses this week but I think there are 3 teams that can win that division. The Giants aren't one of them. They have the least amount of talent on the roster by a wide margin.

Well, Browns have a chance to move to 3-2 tonight on a 3-game win streak. I guess the TRich trade wasn't so bad for them really either way.

Now if they can just make a trade for Josh Freeman they might be in decent shape.

Maybe but it's a tradeoff either way.  They could be improving while still getting multiple 1st rounders to add good depth for years to come instead of the being worse and looking for a couple of rookies to unrealistically shoulder some kind of ascension out of the cellar next year.  The AFC North is so wide open that they have a chance for the post season even.  Though I think Cincy will prevail.

I think Hoyer is dog shit personally. No chance in hell he is a starter next year for any team.

Damn Bucs couldn't get any trade for Josh Freeman? Had to release him. If I was Cleveland, Jacksonville, Oakland, Jets, Titans(with Locker injured) I would be all over him.

Gotta say, Tampa Bay looks like shit with this Freeman thing and a lot of the related news that has been leaking out the past two weeks.  What free agent is gonna wanna go there under that regime?

Yeah Greg is about be sent back to college very soon. Tampa Bay isn't Rutgers. Prediction. Boise State coach goes to USC and Greg Schiano is the new coach at Boise State next season.

There isn't anything out there right now. None of the current free agents were/are anywhere near as talented as Freeman. Despite his interception troubles he's a great fit for our offense since he likes to scramble some and he's used to playing on a team similar to ours in that he never had an "elite" wideout to throw to. Vincent Jackson was about the best guy he's ever played with in Tampa.

Simply put Ponder isn't the guy. His start last season was very good but we started to see the decline even before Harvin went down. He was clearly playing above his head for a bit there because since he started to slip it's been pretty consistent, and by consistent I mean consistently bad. The decisions he makes leave Me scratching My head sometimes. Last year you could chalk it up to rookie mistakes but through 3 games he was making the same mistakes this year.

Do you think he'll get something better out of Greg Jennings?

he might well do, but he did play very poorly, too often in tampa.

he can't blame the lack of an OL, lack of a running game or lack of receivers for his play.
