Welker got a 2 year deal in Denver, they are going to be scary again next season. They should have beat the Super Bowl Champions this year.

I'm sure they will find someone to fill that role. Maybe not the same production but I bet it doesn't drop off too much.

I think Brady drops pretty big. I think weaker was definitely a guy that will be missed.

Welker is from OKC, shows up at Thunder games from time to time with his son.

i agree, brady and welker have been a pain in the arse over the years though and i think they will miss him to a certain degree.

I think it is a significant blow for the Pats. Welker moves the ball plain and simple. If their two TE's cannot stay healthy for not just some but the entire season, there will be a discussed drop off in their offensive production. Brady will still end up as a top 5 or 6 qb I think though, so not a enormous drop off.

Yup Lions. I'm curious how much money they threw at him. I know he really wanted to stay in Houston. His wife too.

Guess the Texans draft a S early and maybe even pick one up in FA as well.

I think the Pats may go WR early with Welker gone. I wonder is Austin will fall them? I wouldn't mind Swope there either.

They're going to replace him. Welker was legit, but he benefited from Brady and Hoodie.

Welker was the 2nd most valuable player on that team. Brady will definitely miss him, he was a 1st down machine and will not be easily replaced

He's after Brady, the 2 TEs, Nate, Ridley and maybe Lloyd too.

Grantland actually just had an article comparing the two today. To this point in their careers they are pretty much identical and that's with Danny missing time last year. I don't think this is a big drop off from the Welker of today at all

Goldson went to Tampa Bay. Pretty big loss there.

Also, big pick up for Denver with Welker. I didnt even know he was available.
