I know a lot people on here don't like Bader, but I think he's a very solid fighter. He got caught by Tito and had no idea how to stop Machida (same goes for Thiago, Rashad, Rich, Tito, etc...).

Outside of that he's been very good and fought through some injures after winning tough relatively easily.

Edit: and there is the Bones loss, but no long holds that against anyone.

I was shocked to see him on the undercard. I think he's too good for that.

And WTF was up with Jones trying to do the awkward random stare down. I guess he doesn't know how to deal with Chael giving him compliments and not being intimidated in the slightest.

man I understand Hioki was on his back for rounds 2 and 3 but what the fuck, he was threatening with submissions and uida was doing little.

Im old school man I remember watching Bas Rutten win a title for virtually laying on his back with Randleman in his guard.

but this was definitely a fight where the man on his back did more than the man on top and deserved at least the 1st and 2nd

I felt Guida-Hioki was one of those fights where the guy in his guard should have got the nod. Guida was on top for that long but didnt manage to come close to closing the total strikes gap Hioki accomplished on the feet. It didnt seem like he landed any strikes at all. He couldnt pass. All he did was defend. That is a 29-28 Hioki. One judge knew what he was doing. One judge got it wrong. One judge was fucking insane. Guida was just ineffective.

TJ Grant looked awesome. Continues to impress at LW.

Yeah was half joking about how the judges were gonna blow that, it sucks.
