Best division in th best conference in the best league.  Indisputable, not making anything up because I don't need to.

AFC West record 7-2 (best in league)
NFC West record 5-3 (not best in league)

AFC West Touchdowns 30 (far and away best in league)
NFC West Touchdowns 18 (not best in league)

AFC West points scored (257 and again, best in the league) minus points scored against (175) = 83 points up
NFC West points scored (188 and again, not the best in the league) minus points scored against (180) = only 8 points up

AFC West non-conference record 4-0 (you guessed it, best in league)
NFC West non-conference record 0-0

I think it's impossible to gauge teams based on records at this point in the season. IMO most stats out there right now are completely meaningless. Just like saying the Chiefs at 3-0 are as good as anyone in Football because the record says so is incorrect.

Your opinion on their current meaning makes them no less true or accurate though.

No denying the best division ever to be in the NFL has started this season better then any division ever in the NFL other then the AFC West, EVA!

the AFC West is not a strong division.

Denver are good but the raiders are bad, the Chargers are bad more often than they are good, the Chiefs benefit from one of the softest last place schedules imaginable and they all benefit from playing the NFC East this year.

GDP's stats do not take into account that Denver scored a disproportionate number of those points or schedule quirks.

Kansas City Chiefs
New England Patriots

New Orleans Saints
Tennessee Titans
Green Bay Packers
Houston Texans

Minnesota Vikings

New York Giants
Dallas Cowboys
Washington Redskins
Atlanta Falcons
Seattle Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers

New York Jets
Pittsburgh Steelers

ok, let it fly. We deserve it. Maybe not the worst performance of the Harbaugh era but arguably the most uninspired. Niners walked through this game today. It felt over at 10-7.

Niners need to make a move for one more reciever. A legit one. Crabtree and Manningham are not coming back soon enough to just wait for them. Manningham is midseason at the earliest and our bed will be be completely made by the time Crabtree comes back. Kyle Williams is worthless. Patton and Moore can't get open. Today we didnt have Davis. Pretty much, lock in on Boldin and nobody could get open. Kaepernick flat out had nobody to throw to today.

The run defense will right their ship. These guys are on the field the entire game. Kaepernick whether he scores or fails does not control the ball. This is why Alex Smith was and would still be the best fit for this team. He may not always get 7 but chances are he always gets points and dominates the T.O.P and keeps the D fresh. Our defense starting wearing down when Kaep took over. I know the strapped a rocket to Kaep's ass to automatic stardom but i still think there is a chance the change will turn into a regrettable decision.

Also, Harbaugh needs to stop wasting timeouts. It's getting embarrasing how this guy is out of timeouts in the 3rd quarter on a weekly basis.

Colts are a very good team but Niners should have beat them at Candlestick. Good news is, outside of Houston at the Stick..the schedule is pretty light for the next several weeks. Good chance to get our shit together. They better win Thursday.

Houston is looking dodgy at best. Ya'll have a legit shot there. Houston can't seem to find thier identity this season. But it's looking more and more like Seattle wins this division while the 9ers struggle to get back to "business as usual". Letting Kaepernick throw the ball 40 times a game is all well and good but his ability to carve defenses up with precision is limited at best. He's dynamic as shit, but he can't win games by himself when everyone else is covered and nobody can run the ball for shit wearing red and gold.

Rams WR fucking suck and so does that OL. Sam is a very good starting QB but you can't do much on a shitty team. I saw atleast 10 perfect passes hit WR in the hands and they missed. It was insane.

I'm a Cowboys fan but it's frustrating seeing Sam put the ball right on the money , while getting hit and these fuckers cant' make a simple play. He got hit 16 times and sacked something like 6 times and balls kept bouncing off the hands and chest of WR all game long. WTF is Sam suppose to do? Him and Adrian Peterson are being wasted on shitty teams. Sam Bradford is a much better QB then Ryan Tennahill.

many a talented QB has been a bust because they were drafted by the wrong team. if that happened to bradford he wouldn't be the first or the last. timthebim used to say similar things about chad henne, though if you watched the fins during that time you could see he was just not good enough, perhaps michigan and OU homers think alike? Wink

personally i like what i see from tannehill. whilst i don't see him reaching the levels of a rodgers or a brady i think he could play at the level of a flacco or roethlisberger. the kid is going to win a lot of games in his career.

You compared Henne to Bradford? That's just wrong lol. Sam Bradford was a #1 overall draft pick and Heisman Trophy winner, also won Rookie of the Year. Not comparable players.

haha,

i was more comparing what you said about bradford with what tim said about henne than comparing them as players.

tim was looking at henne through his college goggles and what you said about bradford reminded me of it for whatever reason hahaha.

Henne wasn't bad and is a decent backup QB. But he isn't even Landry Jones, a far cry from Sam Bradford.

great bounceback game for the D without Willis and Aldon.

Houston is a big game. After that the schedule is pretty light and gives the niners a chance to get comfortable record wise while they get healthy. The injuries have been insane.
