Early in the fight atleast I think Aldo schools him badly. He is going to be so much faster then Pettis.

Did you see the first two rounds of Edgar/Aldo? Edgar landed 12 strikes combined in those first two rounds while getting nailed 40 times for his troubles. I tend to believe Edgar is a faster fighter overall than Pettis and he couldn't touch shit for ten minutes. Pettis can't push the pace like Edgar can, though, it's just not his game. We may see Aldo just run away with it.

Pettis would light Edgar up too. I knew Jose would have no problems there and somehow he let the fight be close. We'll see what he has here

Pettis would end up on his back whenever Edgar felt like putting him there. If he couldn't stuff a Clay Guida takedown with nothing else being threatened how do you expect him to keep Frankie from shooting on him?

I never said Pettis would stuff a bunch of Frankie's takedowns (although he wouldn't be held down IMO), he would just torch him on the feet. Pettis' strking defense is light years above where Frankie is despite the movement that everyone oohs and ahhs over

what? Frankie's movement is a serious attribute. Frankie has great footwork moving in and out. Honestly it's probably the only thing that kept him in the Aldo fight. And it definitely played a huge role in fighting guys like Bj and Maynard.

i mean Aldo looked gigantic compared to Edgar. He should probably be fighting at 135. The dude is like 5'6 and looked exactly the same at 145 as he did at 155.

Frankie has said he could probably make 135 fairly easy. Don't know if he wants to or if that is even smart. Barao would likely make him look slow.

imo there are more high-profile fights for him at 135 than 145. Unless Aldo moves up and Frankie thinks he can be the 145 champ. Which he probably could.

I'd still love to see Mendes vs Frankie. But I guess Faber vs Frankie could be fun as well. Barao is saying that he is moving up when Aldo moves up. So maybe when that happens he can go down to 135. Cause I don't think he is beating Barao.
