Yeah I kind of threw the 3rd one in there. First time making it back since the old Dynasty days.

I'm not a fan if his. Either he or someone from his crew murdered someone and no one ever hot busted. I think he's overrated as hell. He hasn't been anything but average for 3-4 years.

His prime was great. Elite among elite. He's slowed waaay down and is half the player he was then, but everyone acts like he's still a big deal. Id argue he's on the bottom half of the 11 players on the ravens non elite D this year.

He is still racking up the tackles this playoffs. Also he is still the leader of that defense. Even if Suggs is a much better player.

He might be able to earn fans by turning off the act and being real as a coach, kind of like he has his moments as an analyst. But the moment his act comes out, instant douche.

Ray is most definitely an act. Reminds me of one of those black pastors on tv healing people with holy water for only 19.99. Then doing crazy legs after he heals someone.

hahaha, i don't know if it's an act or not but it is getting a tad tedious this postseason.

he reminds me of a crap rapper or MC, at least in the media. when he says 'yo, yo, yo' you're expected to stop what you're doing and listen, only to hear some binary cliche from a man who seems to genuinely believe he's some sort of prophet. i was also amused by him dedicating a whole press conference to talking about himself only to end it by saying 'i'm not one to talk about myself".

i secretly quite like the ravens and have enjoyed watching him play over the years, but if god existed he'd have better things to do than get involved in the outcome of football games.

just to add,

i think the biggest story of the superbowl will be a great encounter between the niners and the ravens. the coaches family situation or ray lewis' emotional farewell don't interest me a great deal but i suppose ESPN and the NFL network will be bored for two weeks without adding a subtext for those who can't get exited about this game without one.

How about the Ray Lewis steroid story that just came out? Media is kinda brushing it aside, I bet the NFL comes in the day after the Super Bowl and busts his ass... Keep in mind I said the day AFTER the SB....
