I would have put the Texans higher than the Patriots. They are the only team that really has it all. Elite defense, good passing game(when healthy), great run game...not all that educated on their special teams.

New England should not be that high. They really had no business being in the super bowl this year. The only winning team they beat tripped on their own dicks and the AFC was really weakened by the injuries to the Steelers and Texans.

Special teams is nothing special, but usually not a liability either.

Texans were soooo close to ACF Championship with a THIRD string QB. If Schaub stays healthy then there is little doubt in my mind we would have faced the Giants in the SB last year. This offseason we'll lose maybe Mario (who barely played last year and didn't in the playoffs), but add another more picks and probably upgrade at WR too. I'm predicting 12-13 wins and like I said a SB run.

I bet it was Kings LOL. That was my first thought.

I would love to say the Lions but if i was betting and trying to win some cash I would take the Ravens who i feel are damn close and missed the SB this year on a Lee Evans drop and a 30 yard FG attempt that was a fluke miss at best. 14-1 is pretty good odds to me.

The niners are such hype it isn't even funny.

I think with there defense the Niners will be in the mix again. In the division they play in they will have it won by week 12 but my problem with them is I need to see Alex Smith do it again this year.

Smith won't do it again next season, because he'll do better....because the Niners will add one more option at a reciever and we'll be getting others back from injury...also, he'll likely have an incumbent offesnive coordinator and offensive system for the first time in his career.

The problem with Smith over the years was never Alex Smith contrary to what the National(east coast) media will have you believe while ignoring all the circumstances that would tarnish ANY QB. It's not coincicence that once Smith finally got a competent coach with an actual offesnive system, a decent offensive line, and even just a couple passing options(literally, only a couple which also hurt him) he had a strong year.

You maybe 100% right about him but I need to see it 1 more time.

I always had smiths back and felt like he was never given a fair shake, I just donno, the niners dont past the smell test for me. Maybe im wrong.
