Well I see Hendricks as champion material (in a GSPless world), far better fighter than Daley.
Kampmann has gotten way better himself.
If kampmann avoids getting knocked out by bullrush then he beats Daley with ease. Not like kampmann has a glass chin either. Everyone that has put him down hits like a freight train.

Diego is not good. He'd lose to penn.

Still smell homerism from Ali.
If Kampmann fought like he was a better striker than all the guys he actually was a better striker than he'd be undefeated. The problem is he doesn't always fight like that. He doesn't always stick to a gameplan, and he doesn't react well to being rushed alot of the time. In the heat of the moment Kampmann can be very vulnerable when someone breaks through that crisp jab of his.

i came to the sport too late to be a penn fanboy.
imo he was at his best in the sherk fight, since then, the MMA evolution has passed him by. if it goes beyind 3 minutes now, sanchez wins a decision.

i understand the hate for daley, what he did against koscheck was unacceptable.
kampmann was simply not capable of living with him on the feet though, they fight again the result is the same.

I disagree. He was a late replacement(replaced SwicK) to fight Kampmann and I don't think Kamp took him seriously enough.

I'm far from a penn fanboy. He's hugely overrated but Diego is a brawler without big power that has a nice pace. He's only gotten worse over the last few years.

Yeah I think BJ still has plenty left to beat Diego's ass. I wouldn't mind seeing that either. Weird because at one point I liked Diego and hated Penn. But over the years they have gone in opposite directions for me. Diego has become increasingly annoying/weird and I can't stand the guy. But BJ has really grown on me, to the point were I almost call myself a fan.

I'd love to see some of these play out. Looks like it's pretty likely we will get Werdum vs Nog(barring injury), Bendo vs Pettis and Condit vs MacDonald. I could see lil Nog vs Shogun going down after Rashad likely beats lil Nog. It's possible that Okami could fight Ace again, win or lose vs Belcher. If Marquardt comes over he probably won't be that close to a title shot. I'm guessing he would still be 2 wins away. So a Kamp vs Nate rematch is possible as well. The way things are going at HW with Nelson going back and Struve going forward, we could see that rematch as well.
