Zuffa has gone to hell. Bones vs Sonnen to coach on TUF

What bugs me is the idea that "this is what the fans want". Johny come latelys who don't give a fuck if it is not a spectacle would want this, not fans. Fans could accepts and embrace Jones vs Sonnen on one week injury notice to save a card while knowing it was for that reason and not because the fight was deserved. But this? real fans don't want this.

In other news, I'm kinda expecting Nick Diaz to be #1 middleweight contender when his suspension is lifted. He will fight for the title against Silva next, no one at MW deserves it more in Zuffa's head.

Chael sonnen last 11 fights he only has one finish which is against stann. In those 11 fights he had 4 losses and 5 if you give that one to bisping like I did. So Dana please tell me why you fucked the rest of the true contenders at 205.

What I can't stand reading around the internet and maybe what Dana seems to be implying is people thinking that there is a large number of LHW who would turn down a matchup with Jones. This is completely different then being asked to fight Jones on short notice, this fight is 6 months away. You can't use the short notice offers as a reference. I have a hard time believing that given 6 months notice that fighters like Machida, Hendo, Shogun, Glover and just about any ranked LHW would turn down that fight. Give me a fucking break.

I think a lot of guys wanting to put in work not getting booked to fights in the division might feel a little more strongly than Forrest.

Hendo deserves the fight. I'm not happy about this either but this is zuffa building TUF back up for fox. Great business decision imo. Sucks for guys like us. I would rather see Hendo fight him.

The coaches call with Bones and Sonnen starts at 4:00pm eastern time. Look for Greg Jackson to be doing what he is paid for and promoting the TUF Cable show and UFC PPVs.

What kinda bugs me about this TUF thing...
I don't care for either of these guys.

Jon Jones is a phenomenal fighter but I outed him as a diva and a dbag before the Bader fight and all he has done since then is further confirm mine and very many others belief in that. I like to watch him fight but don't like or root for him in any way. His out of the cage conduct give me reason to not root for him despite his in the cage talents. I want to root for people I like.

Chael Sonnen is very overrated and annoying on multiple levels imo. I don't appreciate the fact he knows he himself, the fighter and the man, is so uninteresting that he has to be Chael Sonnen the character every chance he can get just to be relevant. And I am very sick of him being rewarded special treatment for it. I respect him to point for being business savvy and true to his claims of being a take all comers kind of guy, but he annoys me often, and acting out his character doesn't make me more his fan at all.

Really, for me, it amplifies the obvious lameness of having these two on a long ago, dead, overplayed reality TV show which is gonna be promoting not what I love about the sport, actual MMA, but the characters and personalities they think they can sucker out the most money out of from random viewers.
