Wars which he inherited. and promised to end as soon as he got in. He then expanded the wars, and created new ones. He is a puppet for the military industrial complex just like George Bush, except way more corporate owned. Basicall the president and his cabinet work for goldman sachs.

Libya was created by itself and France were the major pushing force to get Fighter Jets involved. |

| I was under the impression that after Obama started fighting for new regulations designed to stop the problems most blamed for the economic collapse, that Wall Streeters like G&S, were shifting their money elsewhere, like to one of their own in Romney. | |

Now they are rampant there and we will most likely have to go back in there for another war eventually. Plus horrible civilian casualties numbers and children dead in bombings. Yea he really deserved that noble peace prize for killing those innocent people. Obama has supported all the wars, expanded wars, Started the drone wars, spying of citizens in the Patriot Act and NDAA 2012 which denies citizens due process. Obama is Bush on steroids except your not allowed to say that or you are racist or crazy.

| gottta disagree on Libys, hat was a U.N. resolution completely legal, Russia and China agreed for crieng out loud (look at Syria)
Al Queda elements were there to begin with (they are all over islamic countries, its like saying there aren't nut jobs in america) and Gadhafi even tried to play the Assad card and say he was fighting terrorist not his own people (not true).
Is Al Qeada trying to hijack the arab spring ? Duh, but I do not believe that they were the original orchestrators of the movement. Mainly because these movements all started out of a want for democracy. Zarqawi is smart and is trying to hijack the Syrian movement. In Libya they won't gain much groun other than gaining several cities (they still hold areas in afghanistan and yemen, nothing new).

| Libya was a cluster fuck! How many hand held surface to air missle launchers did ghadophi have in his arsenal?? No really go do 10 minutes of research and find out. Its astonishing@@ Guess who has control of thos launchers now? We dont fucking know because we didnt have troops on the ground while terrorists took control of a revolution and reaped the stockpiles of weapon caches all over libya. Meanwhile civilians are still being massacred at high rates in providences such as sirte where momar was from. | |

Illegal erm the UN supported action against Gaddaffi, no troops were sent to Libya, Nato just supplied the rebels and sent in the airforce. |

| Barack Obama swears allegiance to defend America, not the United Nations or NATO or any other international body. We shouldn't be in the UN or NATO.
And you are wrong, there were NO Al-Qaeda in Libya before they went in. The truth is the "rebel forces" that overthrew Gadafi and are now in charge are Al_Qaeda and they were sent in by NATO forces. Libya was an epic disaster, still is, and is a perfect reason of why our foreign policy is so flawed.
and we also have troops in 4 African countries right now, on top of what is going on in the middle east. Our foreign policy is a clusterfuck and the blow back from these wars is what will keep us in them, and .... well our country is already bankrupt... guess we just wait for hyper inflation to hit. Gas just went up like 40 cents over night where i live.

| so once we occupy every single country and murder all the bad dictators in the entire world that we have financially supported for decades, and nation build in every single country to "spread democracy", then can we bring our troops home? Then can we have peace?
Of course not. Why? because there will always be more dictators, there will always be religous turmoil, and there will always be bureaucrats in washington getting lobbyist money to start another war for the military industrial complex. War is a business, it has nothing to do with spreading peace, democracy, or defending this country. As long as the people of this country continue to support these corporate owned puppets who could care less about your econmoic or civil liberties, nothing will ever change.
This country is not going in the right direction. We are teetering on the edge right now, hanging over the cliff about to fall into the abyss. It is up to the American people to right the ship but they actually have to get off their asses and fight for something which seems to be just asking too much.

Not really a surprise. Personally Egypt is a bigger cluster fuck then Libya except the Egyptian army will never allow the Muslim Brotherhood to hold real power

Honestly Egypt was a mistake, I was for Libya, we did not send an army there, it was a U.N. operation, personally Yemen and Pakistan are our biggest threats as far as Al Qeada and Taliban are concerned

| they are not threats. overspending on our over seas empire is far more of a threat to our national security than any angry arab in a 3rd world country that we could wipe off the face of the map if they were ever to be a truly serious threat. They just want the occupation over.
And why is it always us who have to sacrifice our childrens lives to fight in these wars? This is all Israel anyway, and they have a huge and powerful military obviously. There is no reason why we have to do Israel's dirty work for them. They are plenty capable of sending their own kids to fight these wars.
Paraphrasing MLK Jr, don't let anyone ever tell you that God chose Americas men and women to be the police of the world.
We down right can't afford it, not to mention it is morally wrong.

| I completely agree that fighting massive ground wars coinciding with tax breaks is retarded, but I also do not think it we should let Al-SHabab, Mullah Omar, Zarqawi, etc. continue to populate, we can kill enemies of our nation without being "the world police"
FRANCE VOTED TO GO INTO LIBYA that alone should tell you something

| That they were stupid enough to do it too?
What good came out of Libya?
We killed a dictator that we gave billions of dollars to prop up
we sent al-qaeda in there as "rebels" and now have to deal with the chaos that is still going on there. Nothing good was accomplished. Just wasted money and making new enemies.
