The Yakuza Papers. I've only seen the first two so far but I recommend them to anyone who likes mob movies. This is essentially the japanese equivalent of The Godfather.

Captain America isn't a bad movie but it's probably the weakest of the Marvel series so far, I actually enjoyed it more on my second viewing. It's a tough character to bring to the screen without it coming across as cheesy and obnoxious.
X-Men's animated series was the shit back in the day, I use to get up early every saturday morning to catch them.

Just watched resident evil damnation. weird how the live actions get worse with each film and the cgi movie by capcom/sony keep getting better. Can't call it a a very good movie but for the RE cannon (the real RE cannon) of the genre, it was good. Still haven't seen the New 3d RE and won't, that series is too much taint.
Also, I would love to see more CGI for films like this. Movies derived from video game or comic book lore have so much more freedom in this medium and the CGI in RE damnation was detailed and top notch like nothing else out there. Crap like Delgo or all the kids cgi movies look antiquated to the attention paid in Damnation. And a lot of times trying to make live action out of high level fantasy type stuff misses pretty bad in it's delivery.

Contraband - Ok I guess nothing we haven't seen before. 3/5.

Wrath of The Titans - Not bad at all, a big improvement over Clash. A little corny in places but it's good entertainment nonetheless. 3.5/5
Snow White and The Huntsman - Surprisingly Good. I was blown away with the cinematography, wherever they choose to shoot the movie was gorgeous. Charlize Theron was very sadistically enjoyable as Ravenna. And old Thor's Scottish accent wasn't too shabby 4/5

I liked that Dark Night Returns.
Been watching a lot of dystopian movies lately.
Mad Max 1 and 2, 1984, A Boy and His Dog, Dark City, Brazil, THX 1138 this week.

Had myself a Rambo and Taxi Driver double bill yesterday, good times. Blu Ray makes older movies look so crisp and fresh, I just don't understand how some movies fans refuse to get a Blu Ray player.
