Fedor looked awesome and Brock not so much. Im glad Brock called it quits because it was becoming painful to watch top guys destroy him. Last night was the 1st time I realized that he didnt belong in the octagon. Even against Cain he had moments in the fight but last night he was dominated.

Fedor looked like he should against a scrub.

He fought a scrub in his last fight and looked terrible. This time he seemed to be interested in getting the finish.

Yep, he did exactly what wad expected of him. Scrambled well with the judo medal winner also.

I come away from this fight thinking thats a guy I would like to see fight again unlike after the Monson fight I hoped he would retire.

Styles make matchups. Ishi has no finishing ability while all of monsons finishing ability comes on the ground. He just did an evolution and actually fought with his head last time, just a little too much so.

Interesting to note that Fedor fought at 233 this time which I think is his heaviest weight ever.

Yeah same here. He even admitted he knew if he loss it would be his last fight and even if he won he was only fighting 1 more time.

Right Overeem retired him by beating him up. If Overeem failed he wouldn't of retired.

If he would have lost to any1 he would have retired though so I guess technically u are right but last night he put up zero resistance and looked like he retired before that fight ever started.

He had as much fight in him as he was ever capable of, which was as predicted, far from being enough to compete with Overeem. The myth of the unstoppable takedown and effective wrestling and unlimited POWA... they were what they were against nothing but knees.

Brock solidified what many if not most already knew, he was the most overrated fighter possibly ever.

Herring's last fight he looked like shit, only stuffed one Brock takedown before essentially laying himself down. I could see Herring from the early 2000's, who fought like he actually cared at times, beating Brock.

He got a fortunate clip on the 43 year old light HW who was exposing his wrestling abilities and size advantage.

He has been able to compete with Mir due to Mir's inadequate ability to contend with a wrestler who is bigger than him.

Lol, all excuses. Brock won fair and square in all 4 fights. I don't see you saying that Brock lost because he's fought only 3 times in the past 2.5 years because of surgeries and injuries that have robbed him of his strength and hunger to succeed.
