You know, I have watched that fight between Sonnen and Silva about 20 times and I still don't see anything different between him (Silva) normally and him 'injured'. The only difference I see is someone is bringing the fight to him right away.

He's had a post-fight injury excuse like 3 fights in a row now. I don't put much stock into them anymore. His body must be starting to fail him

Silva's been declining for awhile, you could really notice it during the Maia fight.

His last two fights were some of the best of his career. He hasn't declined as much as we thought.
Brazilian fighters tend to talk more about their injuries in general.
