final:
The winner goes on to face Akebono.

Minowaman vs. Shinichi Suzukawa (Awesome) Yanagiryuken (Kiai master) vs. Wanderlei Silva Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Yasudadai Circus’s Hiro (that huge guy you sometimes see on J-shows with fighters) Alistair Overeem vs. Performer’s preliminaries winner
Also, I think they have removed the Ultimate Sumo Championship part for the second event. Maybe they got into trouble.

Just typical bitching. No one had anything to say when these kick boxers, boxers, mixed martial artists and other athletes were on the show ( https://ninjasplace.forumotion.net/t15265-ultimate-sumo-championship?highlight=sumo ), but If the GOAT is on it and losses to a guy who was a professional sumo wrestler for 10 years... look out.

People who watched the show said Suzukawa took the competition super serious in all rounds and was fighting dirty even with full throat strikes. It's speculated Suzukawa saw this has his last chance to get back into sumo, he was expelled from competition in 2009 after testing positive for cannabis. This game show won't get him back into professional sumo. But you can tell why Fedor might of wanted to swing on him

Here was the 2nd round of the first season. The Black dude (Bobby Ologun(K-1 Vet)) had just won an 8 man tourney to gecome the "unlucky" 8th contestant.

Whatever only those below him can try to bring him down.
I think you're taking this too seriously. No one gives a shit that he did Sumo on a TV show. It doesn't affect his status or MMA ranking in any way. Relax.
