| Maybe he wants the Championship clause so he can continue to raise money for M-1? However, Strikeforce's image took a hit placing a guy like Grim in a Championship match after losing to Fedor. Yeah, the UFC did it with Maia and it came back to kick them in the ass twice, but they owned up to it. | |

The UFC didn't give Maia a title shot. He was the only healthy option in the top 5 after Vitor got hurt so he was the only available replacement. Nate Marquardt had just lost to Sonnen, Sonnen was busted up from the Marquardt Fight and Dan Henderson was long gone. | |
