Week one thoughts?

USC and Notre Dame proved once again they get ranked on name alone.

SEC struggles surprised me. Georgia, S Carolina, Auburn all surprised me.

Stanford is the only relevant team in the PAC 12.

Well my 1st thought is LSU looked very good. Backup QB and all and they beat up on Oregon. Next is Boise state who destroyed Georgia and was equally as impressive to me as LSU. At 1 point they was beating Georgia 35-7! Next was the weather. This is the most weather delays in a college weekend that I may ever remember(at least right off hand). The Michigan game was called in the 3rd quarter, the Norte Dame game last about 24 hours and there were a couple more games delayed also. Overall I thought it was a good weekend of football though.

Notre Dame outgained USF by over 250 yards and completely dominated them. Had 3 turnovers inside USF's 10 yard line and 2 others that led to points. One of the most frustrating games I've ever watched. Those two teams didn't belong on the same field

ND will win a lot of games this year

Iowa was one of the delays and that cell just kept building. Crazy day.

I was actually hoping Norte Dame won yesterday just because I do think they are a good team and with a loss opening weekend the Wolverines definitely will get the best Norte Dame team they have in them. I still think we will win but it will be alot tougher with them coming in desperate.

Michigan was just getting warmed up then the weather came which sucked. I feel cheated cause I didn't get to see the whole game cause I waited so long for it. OSU looked flat and will get smoked by some Big Ten teams if they play like that all year. Can't wait for next Saturday Night!

I wont say they looked flat because they did win 42-0 but i will say they will lose some games in the Big 10 anyways.

Mid way through the 2nd it was 7-0 that ain't OSU. FLAT.

Yeah I know it was close for alittle while but they have a new starting QB and a new coach so they got on track pretty quick. I still cant wait to see them play MSU in a few weeks and even Sparty will get in there ass this year!

I was actually surprised that OSU won 42-0, regardless of the opponent.

I was shocked when I found out he beat out Roy Finch as one of the 2 starting backs on the depth chart. We have 2 starters on OU right now that are from my home town. Safety Javon Harris and this kid Dominique Whaley. He looked pretty damn good, 3 TDs in the first half.

That's cool. My daughters kindergarten teacher's son is quickly becoming our leader on defense. LB James Morris and he is a stud. Had a good year last year, and started this year great with a big pic and some nice sticks.
Always cool to see guys like that.
