| I dunno if they buy it to the tune of a major event.
A little bit of a sideshow where their champ gets to put a whooping on an MMA champ? Sure that might go over. And maybe that is enough, for all parties involved(including reem who gets a good paycheck for an MMA guy, but not a big boxing contract). And no doubt Reem brings some MMA fans with him, but is this a big boxing event? Not seeing that. A ppv? highly doubtful.
Is vitali HBO? Would that be a problem?
As far as the fight, unless reem somehow pulls a rabbit out of his ass and ko's vitali in the first couple rnds, no chance does reem win this fight. 12 rnds of boxing? dude will be straight exhausted by rnd 8(at best). | |

No way in hell would they not welcome a fight like this. Especially one where boxing would no doubt clearly dominate and make both MMA and kickboxing look awful. Vitali would knock Overeem completely smelling-salt-in-the-face-paramedic-ride-and-miss-the-press-post-fight-presser unconscious and within a few short rounds.
Agree with this - captain organic wrote:

Vitali and Wladimir don't bend to American networks, they make millions off German TV and gate receipts. |
