| I plan on starting an MMA gym. The instructors name is Allen Mohler. He seems rather legit and I have heard good things about him and his team. I am not new to martial arts. But I will say I havent done any competition since I was 14. I am now 21.
My question is... Lets say I want to get back in. I, like almost everyone else, have to work a full time job to make sure I can eat. So I cant be at the gym M-F. The instructor told me that if I want to train with his team, I have to participate 3 out of 7 days a week. I am not thinking I am going to be a pro fighter by any means, but it would be fun to participate in a few tournaments here and there. So, would training on Saturday and Sundays be sufficient, until I can get enough money to train more than 2 days a week? Or would I be wasting my money altogether?
Thanks in advance for any input.
Not trying to be billy badass or anything either. Just looking for new things to try in life. | |
