He fights Guida in June and Maynard-Edgar is supposed to be rescheduled for August or September. Its not that big of a wait

| That means he has to wait until January at the earliest. They could do a Pettis-Gilbert fight sooner and it would be more interesting. |

| I'm sure he'd rather to wait the extra 2 months to fight for the UFC belt than do that | |

| I'm not saying he wouldn't wait. I said it would be a better fight fan wise. |

| LOL i hope they know that this card will not sell now. Dana needs to step it up he has a bunch of matchups to put on there with the buying of strikeforce. | |

| Like I said, I still like this card. Still better then UFC 127 on paper IMO. Rampage vs Hamill, not the style matchup we almost had, but It will do. Fatboy vs Murrr, still top 10 HWs battling to remain top 5 HW in the UFC. Stann vs Santiago, great fight, might be the best on the card. Alves vs Story, I'm picking the upset, will be a good win for either guy. Torres vs Mighty Mouse, ton of potential in this fight. Browne vs Struve, should be a entertaining standup battle.
This card still has a good mix of top 10 guys and interesting matchups. I have no problem paying for this.

| You can't really compare it to an Australian card. |

They are charging the same price aren't they? It's still a solid card.

| Both Australian cards have been watered down though. |

I'm just saying. IMO this is still a good card. There have been worse cards they wanted us to pay for. Overall even without a title fight, it's still pretty close top to bottom to most other PPVs. The card was looking pretty stacked at one point. Still a card I think people won't regret buying. 3 fights on the card that could have been given co-main event status on some cards. Who doesn't think Stann vs Santiago is > Bisping vs Rivera? You still have fights with title implications on the card.

| I don't think Hamill is deserving of being on a main event. |

Would you rather they promote Fatboy vs Murr as the main event? Would that make you feel better? Hamill is a replacement, the UFC didn't have many options for the replacement. But you have 2 other fights featuring top 10 vs top 10 fighters. I think that helps make up for it. I view it as a triple co-main event. Makes me feel better.

| 8 fighters that are currently ranked in the Ninjas Place top 11 are on this card. Including: #5 Torres vs #7 Mighty Mouse #9 Murr vs #10 Fatboy #8 Santiago vs #11 Stann
Also I think #6 Alves gets upset and #4 Rampage better be focused or Hamill will steal that one away.

| Anthony Pettis vs Clay Guida or Alistair Overeem vs Fabricio Werdum should've been moved over. |

| If you don't think this card is PPV worthy you are either. 1. Strapped for cash, which is understandable. 2. Spoiled by the stacked cards we are seeing and what this could have been. 3. Not paying attention to the entire card. 4. Just like to complain. | |

| Mir vs Nelson would make a better main event, Page vs Hamill is pretty meh.
Looking forward to Santiago vs Stann. |

| I think UFC 130 is pretty comparable to UFC 131 from top to bottom. The only thing is Brock Lesnar makes it more flashy. What makes this card seem worse is it was at one point pretty stacked. But if you look at the talent all over this card, you shouldn't be too upset. | |

| Turns out it is Frankies back more then anything. http://www.mmamania.com/2011/5/10/2164149/frankie-edgars-injured-his-back-not-ribs-forced-cancellation-of-ufc - Quote :
- "All of the reports are talking about my ribs, it's actually my back. My back's been bothering me for quite some time. A few weeks ago I had to take a week off so that my back could calm down and I was trying to fight through it. I got through it and it kept blowing out on me here and there but then I ended up blowing out a rib last week. My rib kept popping in and out and then last week my back went out on me really bad, so I went to see a doctor and he said I've got bulging discs and now I'm going to go see a specialist to see what he can do about it. I saw a UFC doctor yesterday and he said my L2 and L5 discs are bulged, and he recommended that I don't fight right now. I can't even put my socks on or hold my kids, it's pretty bad right now."
