That is a major blow to the card. I'll probably still buy. There are a lot of fights I still want to see at 130.

That card first took the first hit when Thiago got pulled off the Rampage fight. The style matchup was much more intriguing then the Hamill mathup.
Now this is the 2nd major blow to the card.
Howeva...I think Fatboy vs D-Bag is a decent co-main event to go with Rampage vs Hamill. You still have Stann vs Santiago which is a great fight. Hell I think those 2 fights alone help save this card. Throw in Alves about to get upset by The Horror Story and the Mighty Mouse vs Torres fight. Still a decent card IMO.

According to former WEC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis, he was asked "3 or 4 days ago" to step in and fight Gray Maynard in the UFC 130 main event. Frankie Edgar's ribs were apparently enough for him to pull out for sure, but Maynard was going to try and tough it out with a knee injury.

This really sucks.

The Co-Main events suck, but the rest of the card is solid. Not worth a buy even if I was that type that buys every PPV. I only buy a few a year and go to BDubs a few times. The rest I just......just watch. I'm gonna watch this one. BTW Torres vs Mighty Mouse is THE Main Event on this card.

Pettis has the Guida fight, barring he wins that, I'd love to see Gil vs Pettis. If they hold true to Pettis getting a shot for beating Guida, then with Frankie and Gray maybe not fighting until August, Gil may not be fighting for the UFC Title for a while.

Pettis is never going to get his shot now. Maybe he should fight Melendez?

It wouldn't be so bad, but it is the champ and the #1 contender, kinda puts that division at a stand still, hopefully the third fight is worth the wait.

Still a pretty good card but huge blow.
