| well, i saw brilz winnin the stand up but that was mostly cus of how impressed cus of what kind of fighter he is and coming in on short notice to take on someone like nog. he didnt dominate or pick nog apart but he did edge him out in an even stand up battle. like i said before, nog commented after the fight and said the reason why he didnt look so good was cus he was preparing for a stand up fight with forrest however brilz was no forrest yet he was able to go toe to toe with him. im just saying if brilz and bader , who dont have the striking skill of franklin , were able to hold their own with lil nog in the stand up , then i wouldnt count out franklin in that department | |

| I'm def not going to write Franklin off in this one, think he has more left then people are giving him credit for, but Lil Nog holds a lot of advantages in this fight. Maybe we'll see Rich going for singles...Nog kept stuffing the double leg, but when Davis switched to the single he was getting every time. Have to think back to the Brilz and Bader fights on what was getting Nog down. | |

Erm apart from the first round how did Lil Nog barely lose to Davis ? I meant the Bader fight in particular...even though Davis did exactly jack shit. No writing off Franklin. This is a really good fight for both guys...should be entertaining. Maybe what we though Griffin-Franklin would be.

| Sometimes I wish the UFC would give guys in situations like Nog and Franklin a solid up and comer as opposed to pairing them in a great fight no doubt, but one where either loses and knocks their careers back further. I guess the same could be said if they lost to an up and comer, but I'm sure you get what I'm saying. | |

| I see what you are saying..Lil Nog has fought nothing but up and comers since joining the UFC. Two losses and a close decision with Brilz. He can use a vet at the same crossroads.
Rich Franklin on the other hand...,Anderson Silva, Yushin Okami, Dan Henderson, Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort, Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin and now Lil Nog...when is this guy going to fight an up and comer?

| Yeah scratch Nog, just Franklin...nice catch. Point is really I just want to see both guys get a win and not over eachother... | |

| He might love to see it, but if he didn't take a fight on 3 weeks notice where he absolutely raped the dude and gave him his own dance move, then there is now way he will do this, or is there...... | |
