| This is not counting Tournaments, just belts (in order to number things down easier.) I understand that this may not be popular but think I have ranked them well. This was GDPs idea so bash him if you think it sucks ( hahah told ya I would give ya credit ) 5. Brock Lesnar - Some will say too low in the list and some will say he doesnt belong. But when you have only had 3 fights and are fighting for a title, you are going to come up short compared to other champions. Also, the fact that Brock beat an old, small Randy Couture to win the title doesn't exactly help his cause. 4. Ricco Rodriguez - Another big, talented fighter who won his belt against Randy Couture. However, just when it looked like the time of "Suave" we realized how unsuave he really was. Getting popped for steroids, drug problems, and just plain lazyness made this guy a cautionary tale. 3. Vitor Belfort - haha wow what a trend we have going here. Vitor won his title on the most lackluster title fight in UFC history. Vitor comes out, throws a punch that seems to miss only to have Randy Couture turn away and say he cannot see. A torn eye lid surgery and a rubber match later and Randy Couture left no doibt about it. Vitor Belfort never should have even been a UFC champion. 2. Matt Serra - Who else remembers how shocked you were when you saw Serra pimp smack GSP in the ear and chase him accross the ring? Dont worry you werent the only one yelling "NO F***ING WAY". And there it was, a cocky italian with good jiu jitsu and solid striking had upset the pound for pound best fighter in the world (at that time). 1. Dave Menne - Man enough cant be said about how bad I feel for Dave Menne. He accomplished something millions dream of doing and only gets recognized for basically being the worst UFC champion ever. He defeated Gil Castillo at UFC 33 to become the first Middleweight Champion, only to drop the belt to Murilo Bustamante. Lost 4 fights in the UFC after the Bustamante fight. Honorable Mention : Sean Sherk, Forrest Griffin | |

| Forrest is worse than Brock considering that Forrest didn't even win the fight. |

| No offense Bird, because I think you are one of the best posters around, even though half the time I disagree with your post. This is a shit thread. First off, anybody who even enters the cage deserves credit enough for entering the cage. The fact that they may have gotten lucky, in some peoples opinions, to win the belt is meaningless, they walked into that fight and won the belt. If this was professional wrestling, I would be completely on your side, but this isn't. These are real people throwing down for real and if you have won the belt? Good for you! Awesome. How Brock is on this list I do not know, particularly after seeing the fight between him and Carwin. Forrest? You listed Forrest?! WTF?! That guy will fight anyone and he is one of the greatest representatives of the sport we all love. Vitor defeated Yvel, Wandy, Lindland (An Olympic Silver medalist), Takahashi, Franklin, and Randy Couture, probably the most respected man in the sport, if your not a Ukrainian nut hugger and you want to dismiss that? And if your list was actually good? Which it is not, you forgot Steve Jennum. | |

| The list seems to be a weird combination of fighters who "maybe were not deserving of the title at the time that they won it" and fighters who "never should have won a title" and putting the two together makes it kind of a mess.
Forrest and Sherk, while not on the list, irk me for even being mentioned in the thread. Sherk was freaking 30-0 against guys not named Matt Hughes or GSP (the two greatest WW of all time) when he won the title.

He was also roided up so how much of it was talent and how much of it was because of the roids? |

| Sherk was never the man in his division (even while champ), beat KenFlo and Hermes Franca, then got popped for steroids.
Jennum was a tournament winner clearly said not counting tournaments

Yeah, because beating a guy 49-45 is not winning.

Yeah, because beating a guy 49-45 is not winning. Rampage won 3 rounds. No way. And he lost the second 10-8.

| Miletich wasn't undefeated, and Newton is not even close to one of the best grapplers of all time. | |
